Outer Worlds 2 Crabble or Raptidon

Grafting either the Skeleton Crabble or Raptidon Matriarch during Inez's quest will change how her companion ability works in the Outer Worlds 2. Read on to learn which part is the best to graft on Inez during Better than Nature.

Choose Crabble Graft Inez receives a variant of the Magic Bullet ability, which allows her to use ranged armor-piercing attacks on a targeted enemy.
Choose Raptidon Graft Inez receives a variant of the Magic Bullet ability, which allows her to camouflauge herself and heal the party.

During Better than Nature, you will have to choose to hunt either the Skeleton Crabble or the Raptidon Matriarch (or both) and graft the Magic Bullet ability for Inez. Each creature changes the effect of the ability.

Should You Get the Crabble Graft or Raptidon Graft?

Get the Crabble Graft to Give Inez More Offensive Capabilities

If you choose the Crabble graft, Inez will receive a variant of the Magic Bullet ability that lets her get into position and launch a volley of hot plasma at the target, dealing heavy damage. This will also give some of her perks an offensive upgrade.

Choose this ability if you want Inez to play an aggressive role in your party.

Get the Raptidon Graft to Give Inez Good Support Skills

If you choose the Raptidon graft, Inez will receive a variant of the Magic Bullet ability that cloaks her and makes her retreat to your position. Once nearby, she throws down a canister of healing mist around her that heals the party while thay stand inside of it. This will also modify some of her perks to be more defensive.

Choose this ability if you want Inez in a support role or if you’re going for a stealth-oriented playstyle.
