How to Use Automechanical Targeting Module
Use it to Reprogram the Automechanicals in the Station
In a later part of the area, you will be forced to enter a terminal to either disable or reprogram the automechs in the area. The Targeting Module you found allows you to choose the alternative, allowing the bots to fight for you in the level.
How to Get Automechanical Targeting Module
Select the Security Ops Section in Horizon Point Station
To get the Targeting Module, proceed as normal with the first mission in the game, the Horizon Point Station. You will encounter a conversation between two of your teammates regarding which path you will take. Choose the Security Ops as that leads you to where the item is located.
Security Ops or Central Dispatch?
Find a Decomissioned Automechanical and Pass the Skill or Trait Check
Continue to explore the Security Ops until you're past the comfort room with a guard inside. On the second room on the left from the hallway is the interactable automech that lets you get the Targeting Module inside it.
You will either need Engineering 1 or Innovative to get the module. Either option will allow you to get the item so choose whatever between the two options.
