How to Unlock Ascent in the Howling Tower
Complete Above and Beyond Repair
Right after completing Above and Beyond Repair, Acquisitions Officer Kaur will give you another task. This time, you must head towards Skycutter A102, located on the northern part of the Island.

Head to Skycutter A102
Travel to Skycutter A102, located in the northern part of the island. Use the Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus obtained from the previous quest to safely cross the Zyranium-contaminated path to the west, which leads directly to the Skycutter building.
You also have the option to assault the Bridge of the Reverent directly with Auntie’s Choice troopers sent by Kaur, though we recommend taking the Zyranium path since it offers a more direct route to Skycutter A102.
Ascend to the Top of the Tower
| Step-by-step Walkthrough | |

| 1 |  Once inside, descend first to the basement and loot the corpse in the corner to obtain the Skycutter Entrance Key, allowing you to unlock the door leading deeper into the building. Next to the corpse is a locked chest that you can examine to start the Who Else But Us side quest. Be ready to fight, however, as there are two Raptidon Hunters you must dispatch. ▶︎ Who Else But Us Walkthrough |
| 2 |  Unlock the entrance door with the Skycutter Entrance Key or Lockpick 3. Using a Mag-Pick would be a waste since you should have the Entrance Key anyway. |
| 3 |  Jump through the broken window behind the door and head toward the elevator. As you approach, two dragoons, two turrets, and two wasps will activate and attack. Eliminate them before continuing. |
| 4 |  At the end of the Ground Deck, past the elevator, climb up the staircase leading towards Deck 2. |
| 5 |  After the stairs, you can climb the yellow ladder leading to the floor in between Deck 2 and Deck 3. |
| 6 |  From here, you climb up either the stairs or the ladder to get to Deck 3. They both lead upstairs, so it doesn't really matter which you choose. |
| 7 |  On Deck 3, use the ladder on the northwest side of the deck that leads towards Deck 4. |
| 8 |  After climbing the ladder, mantle up the nearby crates and walk on the hanging catwalk path. Follow it and turn right to jump towards Deck 5. |
| 9 |  Now on Deck 5, run past the elevator and up the stairs ahead. On top of the stairs is a long ladder that climbs all the way to Deck 6. |
| 10 |  On Deck 6, head to the central elevator and take the Skycutter Lift Override Key from the corpse leaning against it. |
| 11 |  With the Skycutter Lift Override Key, access the Terminal and restart the lift to get to the Deck 7, the final floor. |
| 12 |  The lift will take two minutes to fully restart, during which you will constantly be attacked by Raptidons. Defend yourself until the lift comes down. |
| 13 |  Once the Elevator is ready, head on up to Deck 7. |
| 14 |  Head outside through the door right down the hallway. |
Take the Control Panel Schematics
Once outside, turn left and collect the Control Panel Schematics from the corpse there. The corpse also holds one of the IDs needed during Who Else But Us.
Send a Power Surge to the Vox Relay
With the Control Panel Schematics in hand, interact with the nearby Control Panel and send a Power Surge to the Vox Relay, weakening its automechanical defenses.
Report Back to Acquisitions Officer Kaur
Return to Fairfield and speak to Kaur for a debrief. With the Vox Relay’s defenses weakened, you are now more than ready to launch the assault. You will receive 1080 XP, 933 Bits, and Kaur’s Korroder armor as your reward
Vox Relay's Defenses Will Be Weakened During The Saboteur of Paradise
During The Saboteur of Paradise main quest, the automechanical defenses, including a dragoon, turrets, and wasps, will be disabled, making the frontline assault much less dangerous.
