How to Unlock Tiny Metal Death Pellets
Triggers Automatically After Leaving the Fairfield Town Hall
During the main quest, The Saboteur of Paradise, you'll be tasked to visit Fairfield. To get this task, enter the Town Hall and listen to the conversation between Auntie Cleo, Milverstreet, and Kaur.
Finish talking to them then exit the building. VAL will pull you into a conversation once outside, automatically adding this task to your journal afterwards.

Buy or Craft Some Ammo
This task is pretty simple and you can complete it as soon as you get it. If you have the bits, head over to the More Perfect Goods store directly in front of you (as you exit Town Hall). Interact with the General Goods vending machine and purchase any type of ammo to finish the task.
Alternatively, you can craft ammo by either speaking to Niles and choosing the Field Tinkering option, or by using a Workbench like the one found aboard the Incognito. Regardless, as soon as you buy or craft ammo, you'll get XP for finishing the objective.
