The Speech 9 skill check with Auxillary Dabbler Klong reduces the bribe from 500 bits to 250 bits instead. There might be a possibility this bribe could fail the "Anti-Consumerist" achievement, so caution is advised. The guide has been updated with your input.     When using the speech check on the guard it costs 250 bits. While it does not say this my bits dropped from 61,507 to 61,257. There does not seem to be a way to complete the quest on anti consumerist.
