How to Use Trap Elements

Play Trap Elements to Capture Other Powerful Elements

The sole purpose of a Trap Element is to capture the other Element that shares its name. These other elements are often powerful spells or Summons. For example, if you want to get the ★ Sonja Summon Element, you need to use the ↓ Sonja Trap element on an enemy like Prey Mantis (Another World). Simply play the Trap element at the beginning of battle and wait for the enemy to use that Element or Summon. Your Trap element will prevent the enemy from being able to perform the attack and you will get it in your spoils after the battle is finished!

    Example
  1. Enter battle with Prey Mantis (Another World)
  2. Use ↓ Sonja Trap Element at the start of battle
  3. Defend until Prey Mantis tries to use ★ Sonja Summon Element
  4. Your Trap Element will automatically capture the ★ Sonja Summon Element
  5. Finish the battle
