RazzlyRazzly Agree to find the Hydra Humour to help Kid. Then in the Hydra Marshes (Home World), save her from the Pentapus. If you choose not to help Kid, Razzly will not be recruitable.

Hydra Marshes (Home World) Walkthrough

Note that certain events are locked to the choice of Saving Kid. If you chose not to save her, you can come here but the Dwarf Bosses and Hydra will not be available.

Objectives
1
・Enter the Marshes
The once blocked path will open if Serge has a full party. Head off to the left to find the stalks and near a Record of Fate you'll find a Beeba.

・Defeat the Beeba
The Beeba will challenge you to a fight! You must defeat it to proceed.

・Take the Flute and Proceed
As an apology, the Beeba will give you a Beeba Flute. Proceed further until you spot a Beeba by a chest. Answer it's questions with "Strong" and it will challnege you to battle..

・Defeat Another Beeba (optional)
Defeat the Beeba at it's own game to prove you are truly strong. You will be allowed to take the Bushbasher Element

・Use the Flute
When you find the clearing, use the Beeba Flute to summon a Wingapede. This Wingapede shouldn't be too big a challenge with some prep so defeat it and move on!

・Collapse the Center
After defeating the Wingapede, head back to the last Record of Fate to save your progress before stepping in the middle of the space. It will buckle under the combined weight, sending you down into a cave.

・Defeat the Pentapus
Upon falling into this cave, you would have knocked the monster that resides here unconscious, allowing you to move and meet Razzly. Unfortunately, while trying to escape, the monster will awaken and you'll need to face it in combat to keep moving forward!

・Bypass the Dwarves
It's off to work you go, heading deeper into the Marshes. Eventually you will stumble upon dwarves. They will be the last barrier to the Hydra so be prepared!

・Battle the Hydra!
Once you've defeated the guarding Dwarves, follow their leader to the Hydra's lair! This will commence the final battle.

・Bring the Hydra Humour
Examine the body of the Hydra after defeating it to collect the Hydra Humour. Bring this over to Doc in Guldove to save Kid.

Objectives

・Chase Down Mel
Unfortunately, even if you've saved Kid, you'll find that all her Elements have been stolen by Mel. Not to worry though, you can find Mel by talking to everyone and following the trail she left. You'll end up at the Residential Tower where she's hiding.

・Return to Termina
With everything settled, leave Guldove with Korcha and take the boat back to Termina. He'll leave the party for now. Go to the entrance of Termina to catch a conversation between Glenn and the flower lady. After their conversation he will point you towards Hermit's Hideaway!
Just speak to Korcha again to permanently recruit him into your party!

Tips and Strategies

Head to Arni Village First for the Poet Girl

Poet Girl Chrono Cross Remaster
The Poet Girl in Arni village is a sidequest you can complete for an early Rainbow Shell. Make sure to pass by her first before heading to the Marsh and tell her about her other self.

Focus Fire on Beeba A

During the fights with the Beeba, it will summon and call for backup. Don't let up on the first Beeba as it will continue to call for reinforcements throughout the fight. It can summon up to 5 other Beebas so make sure you hit it quickly and take it down!

Prepare for Poison!

Prepare for the Wingapede Chrono Cross Remaster
When fighting the Wingapede, be sure to have Antidote Elements in your party and some Yellow Elements for good measure against its Green!

Recruiting Razzly

Recruiting Razzly

Use the Beeba Flute to summon the Wingapede and after defeating it, use the weight to crumble the ground beneath you. Inside the cavern, you'll meet Razzly who needs your help to escape! To escape with your life and with Razzly, you'll need to defeat the Pentapus!

Make sure to save before heading down so that if things are going poorly, you can always reload your save and change tactics or prepare yourself better!

Avoid Using Red Elements and Techs Against Pentapus

The Pentapus will counter all your red attacks and techs with its own tech skill which can deal hundreds of damage per use. To make this fight easier, use a different element and focus on that to set a pure field color to amp your damage!

How to Beat Pentapus

Knock 'em out!

Knock Em Out Chrono Cross Remaster
These dwarves will rely on strength in numbers, dealing painful attacks when there are a lot of them out and about. Take down as many as you can immediately to reduce the amount of damage they'll deal.

How to Beat Hi-Ho Dwarves

Yellow is Out, Green is In

Hydra Battle Chrono Cross Remaster
Before facing the Hydra, remove all Yellow Elements from your party. Yellow Elements will heal the Hydra and are rendered detrimental to the team. Instead, use Green Elements to make the most of its weaknesses.

You can always leave the area before the fight to deck Razzly out with better equipment as she could give your team an advantage. Alternatively, you can keep a character with a Yellow Innate to give them a chance of withstanding the Hydra's attacks and revive the party when needed!

Note that if you bring Razzly along to face the Hydra, you will lose the chance to unlock her Lv. 7 Tech Skill.

How to Beat Hydra

Acquiring the Boat

Acquire the Boat Chrono Cross Remaster
Korcha will leave the party once you're in Termina. After seeing the conversation between Kid and Glenn at the entrance of town, head towards to the docks and speak to Korcha. This will allow you to use his boat to gain access to the map! From here on you can explore the other world.

From the entrance, turn right and head towards the dead end. On the left side of this water is a feather.

From the entrance, head to the north section of the map, you'll find a nook here that contains the Bone.

From the entrance, head to the leftmost exit and then head north. You'll find a Brace at the very top.

Cure

Cure Chrono Cross Remaster
Head north from the first area to the northern exit. In the second area, turn left to find the Cure.

Aero Saucer

Aero Sauucer Chrono Cross Remaster
From the Cure Element, head north again to the right of the northern exit to find the Aero Saucer.

Antidote & Medicine

Keep heading north to the fourth area, at the southeastern corner you'll find an Antidote and Medicine!

Recover All

Recover All Chrono Cross Remaster
When recruiting Razzly, check the bottom corners of the cave to find a chest! Inside the chest is a Recover All Element.
