Recruit Kid by Choosng to Save Kid
Choose to Save Kid
Firstly, choose to help save Kid during the Guldove (Another World) chapter. Take note that choosing to save Kid will lock you out of recruiting powerful chracters like Glenn.
Ask Him to Join Once Kid is Healed
After agreeing to help Kid from being poisoned, ask him to join you after he ferries you back to Termina (Another World). After getting the Hydra Humour and saving Kid, he temporarily leaves.
Korcha permanently joins the party after talking to Glenn and the Florist about the Acacia Dragoons. Korcha will profess his love (crush) on Kid and even offer his boat to help the party traverse the world.

How to Unlock Korcha Level 7 Tech Skill
Talk to the Mermaid Tank in Termina Another With Korcha
To obtain Korcha's Level 7 Tech Skill, the Terra Tower must have risen first from the sea, otherwise, this event sequence can't be started.
Once the conditions have been met, bring Korcha with you then talk to the mermaid tank in Termina (Another World) and Korcha will leave some comments.
Exit the Area then Examine the Tank
Return to the tank after examining it with Korcha to find that the mermaid tank is now empty. Head to the cemetery area to the right in Termina to find the Mermaid on the same area where you first talked to Korcha in the game (the area that's only reachable by passing beneath the hut) for a short scene then you'll recieve Korcha's Level 7 Tech Skill.

Korcha Story Explained
Korcha Growing Up
Korcha is a young boy who lives in Guldove. He grew up without a father, but was raised well by his mother, Macha. He spends his time on his own business, a ferry he drives to and from Guldove and Termina.
Korcha Meeting Serge
There are two instances of where Korcha first meets Serge. One is when ferrying Guile and Serge when infiltrating Viper Manor (Another World).
The most common way Korcha will meet Serge is when the party falls off the Manor where Korcha saves them from drowning.
Saving Kid
Korcha is adamant about saving Kid from the Hydra poison. Going as far as to throw a fit (and be unrecruitable) when choosing not to save her.
When choosing to save Kid, he later reveals his crush for her, claiming that it was love at first sight. Korcha even decides to propose to Kid.

how to get the level 7 tech is wrong. with korcha in the party talk to the caged mermaid. then after serge is reborn bring korcha to the cemetery to talk to the mermaid that escaped to receive the tech.
