How to Beat MegaStarky

Working Around its Attack Pattern

MegaStarky Attack Pattern
1 Normal Attack
2 Raydiation
3 Normal Attack
4 Meteorite
5 Normal Attack
6 Meteor Shower
7 Recover All
8 Normal Attack
9 Photon Beam x2 or Ultra Nova (critical health)
* Repeat

MegaStarky just cycles through a set attack pattern which will work to your advantage as you'll know what move it will do next.

Set Up Ultra Nova Trap Element

It is recommended to set up the Trap Element, Ultra Nova, as it has a chance of using the Summon as it's about to fall.

Ultra Nova is a powerful White-innate attack and will prove to be useful for later fights!

Ultra Nova: Element Effects and How to Get

Exploit its Weakness to Black Elements

Lynx Feral Cats

The battle against MegaStarky isn't necessarily difficult, but it is quite lengthy given its health reaching to almost 3000.

Speed up the battle a bit by taking advantage of MegaStarky's weakness to Black Elements. This shouldn't be a problem as Lynx and if you have Harle in your party.

Cast Turn White on Lynx and Harle

While Lynx and Harle are your greatest assets for this battle, you still have to remember that they are Black-innate characters that are weak to White Elements.

Casting Turn White on them will be helpful against all of MegaStarky's Elemental Attacks and Tech Skills!

General Tips

Rethink Elemental Strategies

Given the sudden shift with your party, you might want to rethink your battle strategies now that most of your characters are now Black-innates.

You can use Field Effects to your advantage given that Lynx and Harle specialize in Black Elements to deal even greater damage!
