How to Beat Aquator

Set Up Trap Element Iceberg

Iceberg Trap Element

The first thing you would want to do is to set up the Trap Element, Iceberg, as it uses the Trappable Element twice following its attack pattern.

Setting up the Trap Element first thing will deny two turns for the Aquator whenever it casts Iceberg.

Buff Serge Using Eagle Eye and Vigora

Serge Eagle Eye

Using the combo of Eagle Eye and Vigora can really speed up the pace of this battle, especially with the ability to land consecutive successful Fierce attacks.

While you're in the middle of buffing Serge, the Aquator will surely be attacking your party, especially with its Tech Skill Omega Blue. So be sure to heal accordingly, but still keeping in mind the goal of buffing Serge.

Take it Down Using Physical Attacks

Once Serge has been buffed, have him unleash a flurry of physical attacks, followed by an Elemental Ability to cap off the fight.

The goal is to take down the Aquator as fast as possible before it even manages to unleash its deadliest attacks!

Aquator Uses Vigora as Well

Coincidentally, Aquator will follow a similar strategy against your party.

It will cast Nimble, Numble, and Vigora consecutively in order to put you at a disadvantage offensively and defensively as it attacks you seven times in a row.

You can soften the blow by using buffs and debuffs like Eagle Eye, Bat Eye, and Weaken. Using these buffs and debuffs will also break the Blue Field Effect that the Aquator is going for.
