How to Beat Fire Dragon Part 2

Prepare for a Form Change

Fire Dragon Form Change

Initially, the fight would appear as if it's a just a rematch against the Mini Fire Dragon, but after a turn or two, it will transform into a full-fledged Fire Dragon and will be much stronger than before!

Steal the Red Plate After Form Change

Fargo Red Plate

Once the Fire Dragon has changed forms, using Fargo's Tech Skill Pillage, make sure you snag the Fire Dragon's Red Plate drop, as this item is exclusive to the Fire Dragon. It's worth noting that by equipping the Red Plate, the wearer will be able to absorb any Red Elemental attacks and gain health in the process.

Speaking of things you can take from the Fire Dragon, you can also set up a Trap Element for the move Inferno!

Exploit its Weakness to Blue Elements

Fargo Invincible

Given that the Fire Dragon is a Red-innate boss, you can take advantage of its weakness by using high-leveled Blue Elements like Deluge, Ice Berg, or even the summon Frog Prince.

Likewise, other powerful Tech Skills can work as well, especially Fargo's Invincible!

Fire Dragon Will Counter Using Fiery Breath

Fiery Breath
As you take advantage of the Fire Dragon's weakness to Blue Elements, it will counter your attacks with Fiery Breath. This shouldn't be a problem, as it only deals about 60 damage to one party member.

Watch Out for its Tech Skill Fire Breath

Its Tech Skill, Fire Breath, deals massive Red Elemental damage to your entire party and could deal over 200 damage if you're not careful!

Be sure to be constantly healing in order to prevent any serious consequences!

General Tips

Heal Consistently

Recover All

Be sure to keep your health up by healing as soon as your health goes under 70 percent.

Doing this ensures that you will be marked safe from any of the Fire Dragon's attacks.

Taking Advantage of Field Effects

Field Guide Labeled

This battle is a perfect example of using Field Effects to one's advantage.

It is highly recommended to monitor Field Effects as it can influence the damage you deal and receive to and from your foes.

In this case, having a fully Red Field Effect will be dangerous for your party especially when Fire Dragon uses its attack, Fire Breath which could potentially kill your entire party if you're not prepared.
