Two early game healing spells are available at the Element shop in Arni early on. We highly recommend buying both, especially Cure, which has the added benefit of contributing to making a blue field effect during battle. This is good since the majority of the characters you can get early on are blue characters. They are also highly effective for sustaining your party during and after battles.
As opposed to healing elements, Tablets are consumables which makes putting them in a single grid much more useful since you can use 5 of them in a single battle. This will really help you out in the early boss fights if you decide not to bring any healing spells to focus on damage.

An early Ice Lance which is a level 2 offensive Blue Element can be obtained by repeatedly talking to the “Pot” in Arni Village Another World. With several Blue innate choices early on, a stronger blue element spell will serve you really well.

A team wide healing spell is incredibly valuable not just for the early game but for the later stages as well. These kinds of spells are indespensible and should always be equipped by your members in your party. The Recover All obtained in the image is from the stables in Viper Manor. You'll have to feed the dragons 40 times within the specified time limit.
