Using Elements in battle affects nearby surroundings allowing it to influence Field Effects. By managing Elements used, you can place battle conditions in your favor. Read on to learn how Field Effects work in Chrono Cross Remaster: The Radical Dreamers Edition.
List of Contents
Field Effects currently in place can be seen on the upper left hand side of the screen. The colors on it indicate the colors of up to the last three Elements used in battle from the innermost circle going outwards.
Having at least two elements of the same color on the field will give that element a slight boost in power, while having all three elements of the same color will give a large boost in power for that element.
Conversely, Elements of the opposite color will be weakened if the Field Effect is not to their favor. Understanding Element weaknesses can be used to keep battles in your favor.
