After your trip to Marble, you fine a familiar ship! Wonder what might be different this time.

    JaniceJanice Defeat Janice's monsters for three rounds on board the S.S. Zelbess (Home World).
    IrenesIrenes Speak with Toma at Marbule (Home World), then spend the night in the first hut. Irenes appears in the night and leads the party to the S.S. Zelbess. After defeating the Sage on the Zelbess, follow Nikki back to his ship and Irenes will join you once you get to the dressing room.
    SneffSneff Speak with him in his dressing room after defeating the Sage on board the S.S. Zelbess.

    S.S. Zelbess (Home World) Walkthrough

    Objectives
    1
    ・Speak to the Passengers
    You are back on Fargo's ship, but by speaking to the passengers you'll learn that this time they're a cruise ship with Nikki's group being entertainers here.

    ・Speak to the Captain
    Head below deck to find Fargo, but you'll find him in the middle of a conversation with Irenes. Those who went to Marbule and met Irenes will get a bit more from this scene.

    ・Head to the Hold
    Head down to the second level and make your way towards the hold. Seek the door to the Grand Slam. You'll know which one it is as it's being blocked by a guard. Head to the room beside the guard and ask the man leaving about the Sage. Speak to the guard and learn about the Grand Slam.

    ・Head to the Bar
    The man you spoke to is actually the Sage and unfortunately, he is past the door to the Grand Slam. You will not be allowed to enter without permission from Fargo. So take a detour to the bar on the way back and watch Sneff's show. You'll find the Inn nearby where you can rest for 100G.

    ・Make A Bet With Fargo
    Return to Fargo's cabin and speak to him about entering the Grand Slam. He decides to make a bet with you: Defeat him in the Casino and you'll get permission. Lose and he'll take your boat.

    ・Play Roulette
    Head to the Casino with Fargo and play a Roulette game of Sudden Death. The odds are not in your favor and you will eventually lose, losing your boat.

    ・Enter the Inn
    After playing a few games if you wish, or exploring more of the boat, enter the Inn. You'll notice that the innkeeper has a room hidden above a ladder. But it's too small for a person to get through the space by the front desk and just the right size for a cat.

    ・Volunteer for the Show
    Return to the bar to watch Sneff's show again and this time you'll be chosen as volunteers.Agree and now you're a cat! The perfect size for that hidden room. Run out of the performance, towards the inn.

    ・Enter the Hidden Room
    Make your way back to the Inn and enter the room. The innkeeper will be here using some machine that controls the game in the Casino upstairs. When he leaves, interact with the machine to grab the Handle. You can now play the game fairly.

    ・Visit The Magical Dreamers Boat (Optional)
    As a cat, you can cross the wire of the mobile platform to see the performer's dressing room and watch a cutscene.

    ・Return to Sneff
    Enter the bar once again and Sneff will not be there as the show is over. Head into the hole just big enough for a cat on the right side and into the dressing room to speak to him! He'll turn you back shortly after.

    ・Speak to Fargo
    With the game no longer rigged, head back to Fargo's cabin where he will be in a conversation with Nikki. Challenge Fargo to another game and he will lose. You now gain access to the Grand Slam and have your boat back!

    ・Hunt Down the Sage
    To learn more about the Dead Sea, head to the cannon ports to follow the Sage. He will make his way in and out through the ports, and will enter as your party exits. Keep following him until you eventually catch up and ask him about the Dead Sea. Choose the option to threaten him with brute force.

    ・Defeat the Sage
    With the Sage cornered, you will be brought into a fight! Defeat him to learn about the Dead Sea.

    ・Take Nikki's Offer
    After having defeated the Sage, Nikki will invite you over to their boat. Head to the deck and climb up towards the mast. There will be a platform to take you over to Nikki's ship. Go down to the bottom floor to find them in the dressing room. Regardless of your response, Nikki will want your help in clearing Marbule of ghosts. You are now ready to take your boat and head to Death's Door!
    We do suggest taking this quest, however as it will be vital to getting the Black Plate later on!

    Roulette Minigame Guide

    Can Only Pause in the PC Version

    In the original game, players could pause during the Roulette minigame to try to get the Rainbow Shell easily. They would pause and unpause the game to time the needle landing perfectly! This option is not available on the Switch .

    A variation of this trick is available in the PC (Steam) version of the game only. Players can open the ESC Menu to use the same method as the original!

    In the original game, players were able to use a trick on the Roulette game by pausing the game repeatedly and pressing X after unpausing to time the needle landing perfectly.

    Best Timing to Stop

    For those playing on the PC version, pause and unpause the game until the needle is pointing due south. When in position, unpause the game and press the button quickly. It should hit North!

    For those playing the Switch version, try hitting the button when the red marker on the needle is slightly above the East marker as shown in the picture. As the needle is spinning extremely quickly, it's impossible to time it perfectly, but if you can find a good rhythm where you can have it land on North reliably, you'll be able to win the first prize of a Rainbow Shell even if it you can't hit North every single time.

    As you proceed through the game, you'll continue to unlock more Monsters which will make this difficult minigame much easier. Instead of trying to force a win, you're better off waiting until you have unlocked stronger Monsters and returning to stomp the three rounds.

    Tips and Strategies

    Consider Taking Two Black Innate Characters

    The Sage is a White Innate character making him susceptible to Black Elements. But, he will also use a similar trick that you might have been which is using Turn Elements and hitting the party with the opposite color. In order to counteract this, have 2 Black Innates in the Party and use Diminish, Weaken, and Strengthen Elements to keep him from blasting you out of battle!

    After defeating the Sage, head back to the Casino to find Sneff there. Follow him to his dressing room and he will offer to join you on your adventure.

    You'll need to finish and defeat all monsters in the Grand Slam in order to recruit Janice. This will be difficult on your first playthrough and without using any Battle Boosts, but once you have more mosnters in your roster you can come back to try and recruit her!

    As a cat, go into the kitchen by sneaking into the same hole as the other cat. Talk to them to get the Monster Mouth Frame!

    After grabbing the Monster Mouth Frame, go to the trunk at the back to snag the Frypan Ag47.

    Fiddler Crab

    Fiddler Crab
    Defeat the Sage and he will give you the Fiddler Crab! This will allow you to open Death's Door and access the Dead Sea.
