Return to Viper Manor After Fighting Lynx

After fighting Lynx and ending up in Guldove (Another World) head back to Viper Manor (Another World).

Proceed to the upstairs balcony where you will see Luccia. Afterwards, follow her down to her lab and she will join your party.

How to Unlock Luccia Level 7 Tech Skill

Examine the Ameba in the Sewers with Luccia

There is a secluded area on the Sewers in Viper Manor (Another World) that has a treasure chest that contains a Magic Seal and a docile amoeba. Examine the Ameba with Luccia in your party to obtain her Level 7 Tech Skill.

Make sure to Seal the Water Gate

Without sealing the water gate, the rapids will be too strong which will drag you down to the lowest level of the sewers. Seal the gate first before seeking the entrance to the secluded area!

Reach the Hidden Area Via the Kitchen Entrance

The secluded area is actually only reached by entering from a third entrance that is completely optional to complete this game's story section. The third entrance is found by the kitchen area in Viper Manor.

Luccia Story Explained

Connections to Lucca

At the end of the Orphanage on Fire sidequest, it is revealed that Luccia knew Lucca and has entrusted a letter to her addressed to Kid.

During this scene, Luccia stated that she and Lucca met in the mainland and exchanged notes regarding their scientific findings. Both were amazed by each other's intellect and became good friends.

Desire to Create

Apart from her innate desire to learn and create, these were strengthened further due to the many instances wherein she saw herself as a failure - during Viper and Fargo's falling out, Zelbess and Marcy, Lucca's orphanage on fire, and the death of her brother, the inventor of Grobyc.

These instances pushed her to experiment and create creatures teeming with life, like Pip and NeoFio, as well as monsters that can be of service to the Dragonian Military.

Wanting to do more, she later joins Serge and his allies to further expand her horizons and pick up more things than she possibly ever could being cooped up in the Viper Manor lab.
