Status Effects are ailments that can be applied to both your characters and enemies alike in Chrono Cross Remaster: Radical Dreamers Edition. Read on to see a list of all status effects, their effects when inflicted on a unit, and how to cure each status ailments!

Confused | Red | Loss of control and unit may attack allies |
Dizzy | Yellow | Reduced chance of evasion |
Frozen | Blue | Frozen |
Fatigued | White | Stamina Consumption increased |
Asleep | White | Unable to participate in battle and defense power is decreased while sleeping |
Darkness | Black | Reduced accuraccy |
Cursed | Black | Stamina is consumed as damage is inflicted |
Unable to Use Elements | All Colors | Corrersponding Color become unusable |
Green Persistent status effect indicates members are poisoned.

Sprain | Yellow | Reduced Attack Damage | Can't Run |

The main and easiest way is to remove them via consumables. There are four main color healing items and Panacea that is treated as a remedy that can remove any ailments inflicted on your party members.

Antidote | Green | Removes Poison and other green ailments |
Ointment | Red | Removes Burn and other red ailments |
Brace | Yellow | Removes Sprain and yellow status effects |
Medicine | Blue | Removes Flu and other blue status effects |
White Out | White | Removes white status effects |
Black Out | Black | Removes black status effects |
Panacea | White | Removes all status effects |
Aside from consumables, there are also non-consumables element that can remove ailments.
Element | Color | Effect |
---|---|---|
Revenge | Black | Transfers all your status ailments to the enemy. |
Purify | White | Removes all status effects |
Holy Healing | White | Restores all HP and removes status effects |
Since these ailments only affect you during battle, they will not persist after the battle has been completed and will not carry over to the next fights.
Ailements that will affect your party even after the battle must be cured specifically with restoratives. This includes ones like Poisons, Sprain, etc.
