How to Beat Lynx

Equip Your Party with White Elements

Weakness to White

Given that Lynx is a Black-innate boss, it's important to make sure every attack counts and is powerful enough to take him down quickly.

Consider sharing your White Elemental Abilities to your other two party members, and not just Serge, to maximize your turns.

This is done in order to stil deal White Elemental damage should Lynx cast Anti-White to one of your party members.

Prepare for Buffs and Debuffs

Imbecile

At the start of the battle, Lynx will cast Imbecile and Genius which decreases your party's magic attack and increase his respectively.

Be sure to heal when needed and use physical attacks while temporarily debuffed!

Watch Out for Lynx's Hell Bound Attack

Later in the battle, Lynx will cast Hell Bound to one of your characters, dealing massive damage in the process.

Be wary of the Field Effect and make sure it does not become all Black. Otherwise, Lynx's Hell Bound will be amplified and it can easily take down your party members one by one, most especially Serge.

Prevent this from happening by different Elements to break the Field Effect. If you can, make the Field Effect all White and have Serge attack with Dash & Slash!

Lynx Will Heal Himself if the Fight Drags On

Nostrum

Once Lynx is weakened, try to take him down immediately. Prolonging the fight will have him cast Nostrum and heal 200 of his health.

Unleash your strongest Elemental Abilities and Tech Skills during this final stretch!
