Can be trapped from the two Dodos in Fossil Valley (Another World). It is the Dodo that was previously guarding Draggy's egg in Another World. To get there, use the ladder up north then descend on the bone ladder to the left side.
To get the Dodos to cast ★ Unicorn in battle, the field must be completely white. Then, set your Unicorn Trap element and wait for ★ Unicorn to be cast.

★ Sonja
(Lv.7) |
Summons a forest dryad to sprinkle poison dust. |
★ Genie
(Lv.8) |

The ★ Sonja summon can be trapped two ways but the easiest method is to look for a lone Bulb in Shadow Forest Home World. Make sure that the Bulb is alone. Bulbs that come in groups do not use the summon at all.
The other way to trap ★ Sonja is from the lone Prey Mantis in Gaea's Navel (Home World).
A guaranteed drop from the Green Dragon boss fight.

★ Mother Ship
(Lv.7) |
Contacts a spaceship to blast foes to pieces. |
★ Grim Reaper
(Lv.8) |
Summon Death to wreck doom and destruction. |
The Mother Ship is easiest to get from the Shadow cats in Fossil Valley Another World. There is a higher chance of the summon being used if the shadow cats come in a pair.
Once the field is completely black, set your Mother Ship (Trap) element in preparation and wait for the Shadow Cat to cast it.
Shadow Cat: Stats, Locations, Drop and Steal Items
The Grim Reaper summon is a guaranteed drop from the Black Dragon boss fight.

The Red Wolf is summoned by the Hot Doggity in Mount Pyre Home World. The Hot Doggity has a high chance of using it if it comes alone for the fight. Make sure the field is completely red, then lay a Red Wolf Trap element.
Hot Doggity: Stats, Locations, Drop and Steal Items
Much like the other Level 8 summons, the Salamander is also a guaranteed drop from the Fire Dragon boss fight. Take note that this is dropped on your 2nd fight with it.
How to Beat Fire Dragon Part 2

★ Golem
(Lv.7) |
Summons an earth giant to stomp on your foes. |
★ Thunda Snake
(Lv.8) |
An electric serpent zaps anything in its path. |
The Golem is easiest to find on the Hydra Marshes Another World from the Centaurpedes in the area. It is cast if the Centaurpedes come in pair!
The field will need to be completely yellow in order for the Centaurpede to cast Golem. Set a Golem Trap element to capture the summon.
Centaurpede: Stats, Locations, Drop and Steal Items
The last level 8 summon on our list and is also a guaranteed drop from the Earth Dragon.
To use a blue summon, you need to have a field that is a pure blue field. To know if an element is a summon, you'll usually find a star (★) symbol before its name.
With the same example above, you'll need a character with a blue innate element to equip the said summon. This makes farming for shiny materials require multiple characters to use each specific summon element in the game.
Using a summon in battle costs 1 ★ (star) level. If you cast a summon element in battle, you'll notice that your star level will be reduced by 1. To replenish your star levels, simply stay at any inn located in the world.
There are shiny materials used to craft rare rainbow weapons, armor, and accessories. These shiny materials are obtained by defeating enemies using summons and are a vital mechanic to craft the strongest weapons in the game!
