After defeating FATE, head to the Divine Dragon Falls (Another World), the waterfall near Arni Village, with Steena in your party. Follow the path until you come across a pedestal. Place the Tear of Love and Tear of Hate on the pedestals to make the Chrono Cross.

How to Use Have Serge use it after following the correct sequence of Elements against the Time Devourer (True Form).

Use the Chrono Cross to Defeat Time Devourer (True Form)

To get the True (Good) Ending, you'll need to use the Chrono Cross to defeat Time Devourer (True Form), the final boss. Before engaging the final boss, make sure Serge has equipped the Chrono Cross, preferably to a low slot on his Element Grid.

Use Elements in Order to Be Able to Use Chrono Cross

Chrono Cross Element Order
Yellow → Red → Green → Blue → Black → White → End with Chrono Cross

Before you can cast the Chrono Cross, you'll need to use elements in the correct order (listed above) during battle. If the pattern is interrupted (for instance, if the boss casts a yellow element after you cast a red element), you'll have to start over from yellow. Be sure to have your party reach a grid level of 8 before casting the series of Elements.

Once you have accomplished the Element order, switch back to Serge and have him cast the Chrono Cross.

After Serge uses the Chrono Cross, watch the True Ending unfold in all its glory!
