Fargo is a great character to have here for his ability to steal, as well as being a Blue Innate. Each dragon has their own colored plate, which is a powerful item that can only be acquired here. Fargo would be a great choice to try and snag that item!
Fargo Tech Skills, Weapons, and How to Recruit
These characters will be extremely weak to the power of the Black Dragon so you'll want to keep them out of this fight.
Using Black Elements on the Black Dragon will heal it, which would prolong the fight and be detrimental to your party! So be sure to remove them all beforehand.
As always, make the most of a Dragon's Innate Element and their weaknesses by distributing Elements among your party and by purchasing Trap Elements in advance to remove each Dragon's powerful abilities.
In particular you may want to stock up on Elements like Panacea, HolyLight, Purify, MeteorShower, BlackOut and the like!
Use items such as Angel Charms and Resistance Belts to counteract the powerful attacks of the Black Dragon.
For the first part of the battle, avoid using too many White Elements at the beginning. If you use it too often the Black Dragon will use an AntiWhite, making the fight even harder than it already is. Keep Purify Elements ready to remove status effects inficted by Darkness. On that note, you'll want to keep the field from turning Black as well!
Use Trap Elements for GravityBomb or FreeFall to take the Black Dragon's moves and keep them for yourself!
