Usually known for goofing around, Solt and Peppor finally shake things up by being serious this time around.
They will often be casting Earthquake and Thunda Storm, both of which are really good Yellow-innate attacks.
Be sure to set up Trap Elements for both in order to snag a couple of these skills!
Solt and Peppor's Dual Tech Skill, Cross Cut, is obviously a nod to Serge and Glenn's Dual Tech Skill, X-Strike. Surprisingly enough, it can deal a decent amount of damage as well! They will only do this once, but be sure to heal afterwards upon unleashing the attack, especially if they target Karsh.
Apart from their stronger Elemental Attacks and Dual Tech Skill, not much as changed as far as offensive strategies are concerned.
Given that they're Yellow-innate bosses, using Tech Skills and Green Elemental attacks at the end of your combos will speed up the fight tremendously.

Once you have recruited both Karsh and Zoah, you will have access to their Dual Tech Skill called X-Strike.

| Dragon Spike | A Green-innate combo attack on a single target, that requires the powers of DragonRider (Karsh) and Toss&Spike (Zoah) to perform. |
Pairing this Dual Tech Skill with their Single Tech Skills will make this battle end much faster.
There are more Dual Techs out there, even Triple Techs, so it's best to recruit as many characters as possible to see the other kinds of group Tech Skills you can execute to deal devastating damage against your foes!

Karsh being a character close to Dario, is a requirement for this battle to trigger, as well as to unlock Karsh's Level 7 Tech Skill, Axiomatic.
How to Recruit Karsh and Unlock Level 7 Tech Skill
After defeating Solt and Peppor, they will return the Memento Pendant they have taken from Karsh. This item is required to go to the Forbidden Island to face Dario.
