The first step to get the Master Hammer is recruiting the man who wields it. You can recruit Zappa by visiting his Smithy in Termina (Home World).
How to Recruit Zappa and Unlock Lv 7 Tech Skill
Next, you'll need to continue the main quest through S.S. Zelbess (Home World). After defeating the Sage of Marbule, talk to Nikki and accept his request to clear Marbule of ghosts. Note that failing to talk to Nikki will result in being locked out of being able to get rainbow weapons, so don't skip this step!
S.S. Zelbess (Home World) Walkthrough
After completing S.S. Zelbess, you'll need to defeat the 6 dragons. Make sure to bring Fargo with you so he can steal the elemental plates!
Note that it is not possible to defeat all 6 dragons before completing S.S. Zelbess and Nikki's request. The Black Dragon in Marbule (Another World) only wakes up and fights you when the two quests have been completed.
It is also required to complete Fort Dragonia (Home World) and defeat Dark Serge first before you can get the Master Hammer.
Fort Dragonia (Home World) Walkthrough
Once you have completed all the quests above, return to Marbule (Home World) with Zappa and go inside the cave where you fought the Black Dragon in Marbule (Another World).
The man on the left will sell you the Master Hammer for 10,000G.
After getting the Master Hammer from Marbule (Home World), equip it to Zappa and take him to Termina (Another World). Talk to Another World's Zappa with Home World Zappa in your party and watch the two blacksmiths forge a Rainbow Weapon.
Afterwards, they will inform you that you can now forge rainbow equipment!
You can get Rainbow Equipment by forging them at a Blacksmith's or with the Smith Spirit.
The Smith Spirit lets you forge equipment anywhere on the World Map or at any Record of Fate.
All Rainbow Equipment requires a Rainbow Shell, a few other Shiny materials, and gold to forge them.
