As part of the Chrono Cross Remaster, Square Enix has announced a new feature called Battle Boosts. Battle Boosts give you the edge that you need on your enemies to make battles easier!

Battle Boost Gameplay

Battle Boosts have several features that make the combat much easier for those who want to get through a particular battle without any fuss.

  • Characters don't take damage from enemy attacks.
  • The Element Grid is automatically full for each character, allowing you to perform their Elemental Abilities without having to attack first.
  • However, Elemental Abilities are still limited to once per battle.

To activate battle boost, simply click on the RIGHT STICK anywhere in-game.

To know that you've successfully activated Battle Boost, you will find this specific icon on the lower right of the screen.
