This is a boss guide on how to beat Miguel in Chrono Cross Remaster: The Radical Dreamers Edition. Read on to learn more information on Miguel, his Abilities, item drops, and how to beat Miguel fast!
Make it a priority to cast Diminish as early as possible. Otherwise, Miguel's Tech Skill, Holy Dragon Sword will obliterate any of your party members in one blow.
By casting Diminish, Miguel's powerful Tech Skill's damage will be halved. Even then, the attack can easily take away about half of your party member's HP.
Additionally, you can cast Negate Magic to Lynx to prevent any Elements Miguel will throw at him. As for the other party members, you can have Harle cast her Tech Skill Moon Shine for buffs against Elemental attacks.
Halfway into the battle, Miguel will cast Turn Black to one of your allies, immediately followed by Photon Beam to take advantage of your temporary weakness.
To make things worse, he will also start casting Meteor Shower which deals White Elemental damage to your entire party once he's about to fall, followed by Holy Light.
Counter this by using Turn White alongside Diminish to greatly reduce Miguel's damage.

It is recommended to heal when your health goes any lower than 80 percent, as Miguel's Tech Skills and normal attacks can deal massive damage to your party, especially to Lynx and Harle, who are Black-innates.
Consider healing before ending your turn to make sure you can take any attacks Miguel will throw at you!
