If you want to make the most out of using Sprigg's Doppelgang ability in battle, or if you just want to get the best monsters for defeating Janice in the Grand Slam, we have a list of the strongest enemies the game has to offer!
A blue powerhouse that has a strong single target tech and high damage stats. It can also sustain itself with Curepluses. This is one of your initial forms and is a good monster to start with if you want to see how to play as Sprigg.
A beefy red innate attacker doppel form. The Taurminator can be accessed in the mid-game in Mount Pyre home world. Aside from being a good summon, it can also use Inferno so capture it from them if you wish to have stronger red element spells.
Wightknight is a famous Doppelgang for a reason. It sports an insane attack rating and even comes with a Physnegate to easily destroy enemy physical damage dealers.
The trio from the game's prequel makes a comeback as an NG+ only boss fight. Each form is a powerhouse and Slash can even perform a Z Slash triple tech with Serge and Kid.
How to Beat Ozzie, Flea, and Slash
Cybot is one of the better yellow innate forms you can get for Doppelgang. It is not astounding but if you're looking to get a form for each innate for Sprigg, the Cybot can at least fill the yellow innate without holding the team back too much.
Another strong Doppelgang form. They can only be found in Chronopolis but they are a worthy form to have as it has an insane attack and defense rating just next to the Wightknight.
Combot: Stats, Locations, Drop and Steal Items
Another subpar monster compared to the rest of the best Doppel forms. However, it is in the same boat as Cybot but for the green innates.
To get a Doppelgang form, you'll have to defeat that specific enemy with Sprigg's attack or element. This may prove difficult as Sprigg doesn't have a lot of Element Grid slots.
The character that defeats an enemy while equipping the Forget-me-not Pot automatically registers a defeated enemy as a new Doppelgang for Sprigg to use. This is especially handy if you're starting to hunt monsters for Sprigg.
While there are many monsters in the game, Sprigg actually can't assume the form of all enemies. Below are the list of monsters Sprigg can't transform to.
Enemy | Innate Element | HP |
---|---|---|
Geos | Black | 208 |
Mannequeen | Yellow | 200 |
Robo Ducky | White | 450 |
This list is still incomplete and is currently being updated. Have some monsters you confirmed Sprigg can't form into? Share it with everyone in the comment section!
