This is a boss guide on how to beat Taurusoid in Chrono Cross Remaster: The Radical Dreamers Edition. Read on to learn more information on Taurusoid, its Abilities, item drops, and how to beat Taurusoid fast!

How to Beat Taurusoid

Set Up Trap Element Tornado First

Tornado Trap Element

Prioritize setting up a Trap Element for the powerful skill Tornado. The Taurusoid may attempt to use Tornado at some point in the battle, so it's highly recommended to steal it from the monster to make up for its poor item drops!

Trappable Elements and How to Use Trap Elements

Don't Use Yellow Elements

Heal All Counter

While it makes sense to use Yellow Elements against a Green-innate boss, it is greatly discouraged as the Taurusoid will counter every Yellow-innate skill by casting Heal All.

If you don't want to prolong the fight, consider using other non-Yellow Elements or better yet, Level 5 Tech Skills!

Watch Out for its Tech Skill Back Drop

Taurusoid Back Drop

The Taurusoid's Tech Skill, Back Drop is pretty powerful and is usually done immediately before attacking you with Body Press.

This can prove to be dangerous when done consecutively, so be sure to not let your health go below 75 percent to mark yourself safe from its attacks!

General Tips

Deal Massive Damage with Dual Techs

X-Strike

If you managed to recruit Glenn in your playthrough, you will have access to a Dual Tech Skill between him and Serge called X-Strike.

Name Description
X-Strike A Red-innate combo attack on a single target, that requires the powers of Dash&Slash (Serge) and Dash&Gash (Glenn) to perform.

Pairing this Dual Tech Skill with their Single Tech Skills will make this battle more manageable.

There are more Dual Techs out there, even Triple Techs, so it's best to recruit as many characters as possible to see the other kinds of group Tech Skills you can execute to deal devastating damage against your foes!
