How to Beat Polly and Fargo
Bosses are Fought Consecutively
Once aboard the S.S. Invincible, you will be faced with a series of battles.
First is against a trio of Man-O-Wars, which is a very straightforward battle, followed by a hard-hitting Polly, and to be concluded with the captain of the S.S. Invincible, Fargo himself.
Be sure to pace yourself accordingly and to stock up on healing items!
Prepare Blue and Red Attacks
Polly and Fargo are hard-hitting bosses. They can easily take you down with a Tech Skill or two, so be sure to take them down as fast as possible by taking advantage of their respective weaknesses.
Heal Consistently
It is recommended to heal when your health goes any lower than 70 percent to mark yourself safe from Polly's normal attacks and its Tech Skill, Flap.
In addition, do prepare yourself to take increased damage when Fargo casts Strengthen and attacks your party.
Use Tablets or Cure abilities before ending your turn to make sure you can take any attacks the Polly and Fargo will throw at you!

General Tips
Deal Massive Damage with Dual Techs
If you managed to recruit Glenn in your playthrough, you will have access to a Dual Tech Skill between him and Serge called X-Strike.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| X-Strike | A Red-innate combo attack on a single target, that requires the powers of Dash&Slash (Serge) and Dash&Gash (Glenn) to perform. |
Pairing this Dual Tech Skill with their Single Tech Skills will make these series of battles incredibly easy.
There are more Dual Techs out there, even Triple Techs, so it's best to recruit as many characters as possible to see the other kinds of group Tech Skills you can execute to deal devastating damage against your foes!

Make Use of Elemental Weaknesses
You will pick up and learn a lot of Elemental Abilities and Tech Skills along the way, all of which are tied to specific Elements with respective weaknesses.
The key to Chrono Cross is understanding Elements and using its strengths and weaknesses to your advantage!
