During Dark Serge's terrorism in Another World, the people of Arni Village will be hiding on the mayor's house. The Rainbow Shell that was on display will be left unguarded and ripe for the taking.

If you're willing to reload the game, the Wight Knight has a chance to drop a Rainbow Shell upon defeat. It's only fought once during each playthrough and is also a valuable transformation for Sprigg.

Reward for Helping the Earth Dragon Isle Excavation Team

In the Home World, the Excavation team will be in a slump since their investigation held no progress at all as there is “nothing” on the island. Head to the quick sand's center then exit the underground. This will progress their investigation. After completing the Tower of Geddon, their investigation will have gained some progress. Talk to the guy north west of the small sand spitting hole to recieve the Rainbow Shell as a thanks.

From the Treasure Chest Blocked by the Ice Trap in Viper Manor Another World

If you've been on the room with the five Will o Wisp, you might have encountered the two treasure chests with the ice trap. Check the pillar on the upper left corner of the room to reveal a hole. Examine it to find a switch, this will disable the ice trap with the lower right chest containing a Rainbow Shell.

Given By the Water Dragon Another World Explorer

The same explorer that gave you one of Skelly's part will say that his nightmares have disappeared. He'll thank you for it and give you a Rainbow Shell for taking the item. This can only happen after regaining Serge's body.

Reward For Adjusting Viper Churro Price

If you helped the merchant that was selling Viper Churros on your first visit to Termina Another World, returning there after regaining Serge's body then talking to him again will have you rewarded with a Viper Churro!

Burning Orphanage Sidequest

Rainbow Shells at the Orphanage on Fire
	1st Floor Next to the grandfather clock.
	2nd Floor Next to the bed.
	Cutscene After reading the letter to Kid.

In this area, you can get 3 Rainbow Shells! The first one is obtained by defeating the lava-boys in the areas and helping the two kids. Talk to them and you'll be rewarded with a Rainbow Shell. The other one is obtained on the second floor by helping the girl. There are other obtainables in the area but after this is done, put Kid in the party then talk to Luccia in Viper Manor.

There are two Rainbow Shells in this area and they are very hard to miss. The first one is on the first area on the northeast most section. The other one is on the second area on the southeast most section found inside a treasure chest.

Take the elevator to the blocked 3rd floor of Chronopolis. The Rainbow Shell is in the back room.

Salvage a Betta Carotene

The Betta Carotene is the carrot's rainbow version. Unlike other rainbow weapons, the Betta Carotene can be obtained as a loot in the Terra Tower. With this in mind, if you don't plan to include Janice in your party, you can disassemble the weapon for a new Rainbow Shell.

Salvage a Spectral Glove

In the chamber after Pyrotor, as you're making your way you will notice a chest containing the Spectral Glove! Like the Betta Carotene, you can disassemble this weapon for a Rainbow Shell if you choose.
