Joins After Rescuing Riddel

At the end of the Viper Manor Rescue and heading to Hermit's Hideaway (Another World), return to S.S Invincible (Another World).

There will be a cutscene between Fargo and Viper arguing, but will set aside their differences and join your party.

How to Unlock Viper Level 7 Tech Skill

Examine the Flag Inside the Bar in Termina Home World

Talk to the bar maid with Viper in your party once you have regained Serge's body (done after Fort Dragonia's home world). The barmaid will let you inside the bar where you can examine the flag on the wall. Doing so will reward you with Viper's level 7 tech and a Dragoon's Glory accessory

Viper Story Explained

Viper Origins

Viper is the governor of El Nido and Termina, something the Viper Clan has been in charge of since the territory's colonization. In his youth, he gained renown for his fighting prowess; becoming part of the Devas alongside Zappa, Radius, and Garai as their leader.

Life as a Governor

After retiring from the battlefield he finally took up his post as the governor. He was celeberated by all and even had a statue placed at the top most point of Termina (Another World). At some point, he and an unnamed woman gave birth to Riddel. At around the same time, tensions between Fargo and Viper lead to the death of Zelbess.

Viper Meeting Lynx and Serge

Viper first met Lynx as he offered the General, information on the Frozen Flame. Convincing him of its power, Viper was determined to own the Frozen Flame. Viper then met Serge after he infiltrated Viper Manor (Another World), and held Riddel hostage. He was supposed to give safe passge for Serge but they escaped as Lnyx intervened.

Lynx Betrayal and Riddel Rescue

With the Porre Military intending to invade El Nido, Viper decides to secure Fort Dragonia with Lynx's advice. It is there he meets Serge and is defeated again. Before mustering up his strength for another round, Lynx betrays Viper.

With General Viper unconscious and fighting for his life, the Porre Military has taken over parts of El Nido, including Termina (Another World) and Viper Manor (Another World). The Porre Military also takes Riddel, his daughter, hostage.

With the help of Serge, Riddel escapes from captivity and heads to Hermit's Hideaway (Another World), where Viper regains consciousness. After escaping Lynx's attack and heading to S.S. Invincible, General Viper along with the Devas join Serge's party.
