In Chrono Cross Remaster: The Radical Dreamers Edition, dialogue choices influence the plot of the game, the tech skills you can unlock, and items you can get from NPCs. Read on to learn all key dialogue choices in the game!

All Key Dialogue Choices

Recruit or Reject Kid

Location: Cape Howl (Another World)
"Sure, let's go" / "Fine, let's go" / "Travel together"	"No thanks" / "..." / "Refuse"
Kid joins your party and gives you the Tele-porter. Leena will never join your party.	Reject Kid three times and Leena will join your party the next morning. Kid joins later in the game.

Getting Leena's Final Tech Skill

Location: Opassa Beach (Home World)
"I don't remember" / "We'll forget it eventually"	"I remember" / "We'll never forget this day!"
You won't get Leena's final tech skill Maidenfaith.	You'll get Leena's final tech skill Maidenfaith later in the game. (Both of the above options must be chosen.)

Recruiting Skelly and Getting the Bellflower

1.	Location: Fossil Valley (Another World)
	"Yes, we are."	"No, we're not"
	You can go up the ladder, get the Bellflower, and have a chance to recruit Skelly in your team.	The dragoons won't let you go up the ladder.
2.	Location: Fossil Valley (Another World)
	"Sure"	"Not my thing"
	You get the Heavy Skull and have a chance to recruit Skelly to your party.	Skelly won't join your party.

Guile, Pierre, or Nikki

Three guides to choose from for the path leading to Viper Manor. There is no correct choice here but we highly recommend going for Guile as you will likely have Leena in your party which is one of the better blue innates in the game and the other two characters are blue innates as well.

Location: Viper Manor (Another World)
"I don't know!" / "Long live General Viper!" / "Karsh rules!" / "Dragoons forever!"	...
If you pick any of the choices the guards gave, they'll engage you in a fight.	The correct password is nothing. Just don't answer the guards and wait until they let you in the room.

Recruiting Pip

Location: Viper Manor (Another World)
"Open it"	"Forget it"
You'll be able to recruit Pip later in the game.	You won't be able to recruit Pip.

Save or Do Not Save Kid

Location: Guldove (Another World)
"I don't know" / "There's nothing we can do"	"Find a way to save her" / "I'll find a way to save her"
Does not save Kid but you get Macha, Glenn, and Doc in your team.	Saves Kid and you get Korcha, Mel, and Razzly in your team. (Both options should be chosen)

Recruiting Korcha

Location: Termina (Another World)
"Take him with you"	"Don't take him with you"
Korcha joins your party.	Korcha doesn't join your party.

Recruiting Mel

Location: Guldove (Another World)
"You need those elements" / "No, let's go after Mel"	"...It's nothing" / "...Alright, let's go"
You can recruit Mel and get the Guldovian Stitch Frame. (Both of the above options should be chosen.)	You cannot recruit Mel nor get the Guldovian Stitch Frame.

Recruiting Zappa

Location: Termina (Home World)
"Let him join"	"Not now"
Zappa joins your party and gives you the Smith Spirit - a key item that allows you to forge weapons at any Record of Fate or at the World Map.	Zappa will not join your party.

Recruiting Van

Location: Termina (Home World)
"Hire him"	"Don't hire him"
Van joins your party after a brief cutscene.	Van will not join your party.

Recruiting Draggy

Location: Fort Dragonia (Home World)
"Sure"	"No, I can't"
Draggy joins your party!	Draggy runs away to find his family and won't join your party.

Irene's Story

Location: Marbule (Home World) Trigger by sleeping in the hut near the entrance after talking to Toma
"Check it out"	"Go back to sleep"
Watch a short scene in the evening and have a short interaction with Irenes the next morning.	Nothing happens.

Fighting the Sage of Marbule

Location: S.S. Zelbess
"Where's the Dead Sea?" / "Of Course"	"It's nothing" / "Let's talk it over"
You can fight the Sage of Marbule and he gives you the Fiddler Crab after defeating him. Completing this quest is also required before you can craft rainbow equipment. (Both options above should be chosen.)	The Sage of Marbule won't fight you and you won't be able to complete the quest. You also won't be able to craft rainbow equipment.

Recruiting Sneff

Location: S.S. Zelbess
"Have him join your party"	"Refuse him"
Sneff joins your party.	Sneff will not join your party.

Recruiting Irenes

Location: S.S. Zelbess
"Have her join your party"	"Decline her offer"
Irenes joins your party.	Irenes will not join your party.

Recruiting Miki

Location: Saving Marbule (Home World)
"Have her join your party"	"Decline her offer"
Miki joins your party.	Miki will not join your party.

Getting the Yellow Relic

Location: Cleared Earth Dragon Isle (Home World)
"I seek nothing"	"The Dragon God's Blessing"
The Earth Dragon won't fight you and you can't get the Yellow Relic.	The Earth Dragon will fight you and you can obtain the Yellow Relic.

Getting the Ancient Fruit at Hydra Marshes (Another World)

Location: Return to Hydra Marshes (Another World)
"Help out"	"Forget it..."
You'll save the Beeba and it will give you an Ancient Fruit afterwards. You can get more from the Beeba if you run out of Ancient Fruits.	The Beeba will die and you can no longer get an Ancient Fruit from it

Saving the Kids in Lucca's Orphanage

Location: Lucca's Orphanage
"Yes, it's going to be okay"	"Sorry, I don't have time"
The kid hiding behind the burning clock will give you a Rainbow Shell.	You won't get a Rainbow Shell from the kid hiding behind the burning clock.
