Unlocked After Switching Bodies with Serge

Upon completing Fort Dragonia (Another World), Lynx will forcibly exchange bodies with Serge.

Lynx himself is not recruitable, but instead you assume the body of the demi-human antagonist as Serge.

No Longer Playable After Getting Serge Back

After regaining Serge's body back by using the Dragon Tear at the peak of Fort Dragonia, Lynx will no longer be playable.

Lynx Story Explained

Who is Lynx?

Lynx is the living vessel of the super computer FATE, using Serge's father, Wazuki's corrupted body after coming into contact with the Frozen Flame.

Lynx was tasked to retrieve FATE's access to the Frozen Flame after the Flame deemed Serge as the sole key to the piece of Lavos, known as the Arbiter.

Encounter With the Frozen Flame

Serge and Wazuki's story dates back to Serge's youth, when he got heavily wounded by a panther. This encounter with the panther was Serge's first contact with the Frozen Flame, which healed his wounds, but slowly corrupted the mind of Wazuki, who was with him at the time.

Years later, Serge's life was at risk once more when the corrupted Wazuki attempts to drown Serge only to be saved by a time traveling Kid. In an attempt to rescue Serge's life, the corrupted Wazuki alongside his friend Miguel, set sail to Marbule in hopes of finding a way to save his life.

However, due to a massive storm, the three got sent off course to Chronopolis - which was all a part of FATE's plan, a super computer designated to harness the power of the Frozen Flame and bring forth Lavos in the process.

Serge, Wazuki, and FATE

Serge's contact with the Frozen Flame granted him the title of Arbiter, which made him the key to access and harness the full capacity of the Frozen Flame.

With the Frozen Flame inaccessible for the super computer, FATE came up with an elaborate scheme to attain Serge's body and gain access to the Frozen Flame by using the corrupted Wazuki as its vessel. This vessel would later be known as Lynx.

Meanwhile, the time traveling Kid manages to save Serge and bring him back to Arni while Wazuki, under the influence of FATE, completes his transformation and Miguel being stuck in the Sea of Eden for many years.

Lynx's journey begins as he hunts for the Frozen Flame, gaining leverage from the military, and amassing as much power as he possibly can in order to obtain Serge's body to be the Arbiter and become one with the Frozen Flame.

Lynx in Radical Dreamers

Main Antagonist of the Game

Lynx is the main antagonist of the text-based adventure game, Radical Dreamers, and is the game's final boss in the main story.

Radical Dreamers' story is presented through Serge's point of view and chronicles the journey of the band of thieves as they make their way to Viper Manor to face off against Lynx and take the Frozen Flame.
