This is a boss guide on how to beat Hydra in Chrono Cross Remaster: The Radical Dreamers Edition. Read on to learn more information on Hydra, its Abilities, item drops, and how to beat Hydra fast!

How to Beat Hydra

Exploit its Weakness to Green Elements

Green Elements

Given that the Hydra is a Yellow-innate boss, you can speed up the battle by using Tech Skills and Green Elemental attacks before ending your combos.

List of All Green Elemental Abilities

Heal Consistently

It is recommended to heal when your health goes any lower than 70 percent to mark yourself safe from the Hydra's normal attacks and its Tech Skill, Putrid Odor.

Use Tablets or Cure abilities before ending your turn to make sure you can take any attacks the Hydra will throw at you!

Focus on Healing More Once Debuffed

One of the main gimmicks of the Hydra is that it is an expert in debuffing your party.

Should you find yourself debuffed by its Tech Skills Wave Of Fear, Spirits Up, or Spirits Down, make sure to take the necessary precautions like healing more frequently as you will be susceptible to more damage.
