4 | ・Fight the Guards After entering the manor, attempt to unlock the door by turning the Viper Statue. You'll fail and the group will trigger a trap door. This will drop them into holding cells. Kid will come to the rescue and the Dragoons will engage in a fight. Defeat them to get their uniforms! |
5 | ・Locate the Viper Manor Code Exiting the holding cells, walk through the gate on the left and go through the first door. Talk to the guard on the right at the table, who will talk about the code to the doors. Follow the guard, Glenn, out of the room and into the door on the far left of the three. He will write the code on the wall of this room, where you can easily read it and memorize for later! Note that the code is randomized per playthrough, so it's not possible to get the code right without following these steps. |
6 | ・Find a Way Out Heading to the floor above, you will quickly realize it will be difficult to leave with locked doors and a Roborg blocking the way. |
7 | ・Head Back The door here is also locked so you'll have no choice but to return to the holding cell. Head down a level and walk back to the area you started in. If you take the stairs downstairs, you can encounter a chest that's actually Boxer Bros. You can potentially get good Elements from them so consider passing by! |
8 | ・Give the Password Approach the guards guarding the door and when they ask for the password, say nothing! Silence is actually the password. You may find the guards unconscious. Simply walk into the room if this happens! |
9 | ・Collect the Treasures Take the Hero Shield and Silver Pendant on the back wall. Selecting "Grab it" on the Silver Pendant will trigger a trap regardless and you'll find yourself inside a Laboratory with Luccia. If you do not get the Door Code before grabbing the Silver Pendant here, you will not be able to get back to the area with the Door Code without falling through the trap door again, and you'll be forced to fight the Roborg to get back up. Be sure to get the Door Code first before doing this step. |
Boss 10 |
・Defeat the Neo-N-Bulbs Don't be fooled! Luccia will let you out only to have you come face to face with her experiments! Defeat them to progress. |
11 | ・Release Pip and Exit After defeating the experiments, head to the corner cage to release Pip, allowing you to recruit him later on. Luccia will also offer to help sometime later, allowing you to recruit her after the events of this section. For now, exit at the right and you'll be back in the hallway. You'll have the option to fight the Roborg or continue on your way to the room next door. |
12 | ・Solve part of the Puzzle Avoid the traps and take the Decor Shield off of the wall to put on the statue without a shield. This will trigger the appearance of Man-O-Wars. Subdue them and avoid solving the rest of the puzzle for now. Once the enemies are defeated, push the viper statue into the wall to reveal a chest. Do not open this chest yet and come back for it later as it is booby trapped. |

13 | ・Open the Door! With the Viper Manor code finally in hand, head back to the two doors and use the code on the viper statue. Head towards the throne room, taking the left door and crossing the bridge. |
14 | ・Defeat Marcy You'll enter a library after crossing the bridge. Here is where you'll find Marcy and the Prophet of Time. Fight Marcy to progress! |
15 | ・Enter the Throneroom Follow the Prophet's instructions and lower the platform into the throne room. You'll find Harle here. After a conversation, look behind the second pillar on the left to find a switch to lower the platform. This will trigger a fight with the guards! |

・Get Ready for the Final Boss Battle Once you're on the platform, head up to the top with the platform and save your game at this point! |
Boss 17 |
・Defeat Lynx! Enter the first door and Lynx and General Viper will appear from a secret room. This will be the hardest battle in this section of the game. Defeating Lynx will be the only way to progress. Once the fight is over, you'll watch a cutscene that will bring you all the way to Guldove! |

Objectives | |

1 | ・Get the Code Wrong No matter what code you input the first time you unlock the Viper Manor locked door, you will trigger the trap that will bring you to the prison. |
2 | ・Eavesdrop on Glenn Once you've beaten the guards and stolen their armor, head to the left exit and open the first door. You'll head a conversation involving Glenn. Follow him once he leaves the room. |
3 | ・Enter the Soldier's Room Glenn will only go into a room nearby. Follow him to the back where he will write the code on the wall. Read it and memorize the code. Note that the code is random and will change per playthrough. |
4 | ・Make Your Way Up Return to the prison and take the right exit, going through Luccia's lab and heading back upstairs. |
5 | ・Input the Code At the statues, input the code by pressing up or down to select the first number. Confirm and do the same for the second number! Voila! You've opened the locked door! |
Entering the light or moving from the edge of the walls to the carpet inside the manor will get you caught and trigger combat. This would be fine if you're looking to fight as many enemies as possible, but to conserve resources it's best to avoid this.
If you spot doors with blinking eyes, do not open them while these eyes are open as a monster will pull you into combat. Instead, you can time the opening of the door with its blinks. When its eyes are closed, immediately open the door to avoid combat.
These Neo-N-Bulbs are a more difficult opponent to their forest counterparts mostly because of the number of times they use Bushwhacker. Prepare Cures and Yellow Elements to counter this and keep the fight short!
In the battles against Marcy and Lynx, you'll need to be careful and plan your moves properly. Allot Turn Elements for each character by giving them to the one who will act before that character. For example, if the character you're using will use Red Attacks, have the character before cast TurnBlue to prepare for that character's actions.
Not doing so may allow Marcy to cast IceBlast multiple times, taking out characters from your party or allow Lynx more time to deal greater damage!
In the fight against Lynx, using White Elements are preferred since his innate Element is Black. With his Imbecile and Genius ability, your party will need all the help they can get with the additional weaknesses from White attacks.
Note that while this can damage Lynx quite a bit, he will eventually use AntiWhite to keep a character from using White Attacks. This is why it's important to have more than one character use them!
One of Lynx's powerful abilities is HellBound. This attack can damage the party members greatly or in times where the circumstances are in his favor, kill your party members.
Because it's a Black Ability, you need to use other elements to keep the field from going Black. If the Field is all Black, his HellBound Ability becomes much stronger.

Outside Viper Manor, near the stables, you should find a Turn Blue by the eastern wall. The door to enter this space is in the southeastern corner!
Heading north from the main entrance, you'll find a chest with an Ointment inside!
Check the cupboard inside the kitchen to find the Turn Green!
While following Glenn, you'll find the guard's room with a Record of Fate. Head to the left side of this area and you'll find a chest which contains a Revive Element!
To obtain a Magnify Element, you must fight the monsters at the doors with eyes and use an ability to steal it!
In the floor above the kitchen, enter the first room. There are a number of chests here, but open only the right chest to find the TurnBlack. Opening the one on the left triggers combat!
You can get some good rewards though by battling the Boxer Bros!

Earn a Turn Red for defeating it! |
When entering the room after giving the guards the password, you'll find a vase. It's actually a monster that's hiding here, but defeating it will earn you a TurnRed.
Before entering the Throne Room, head up to the balcony and use the switch. This will lower a ladder that will give you access to a chest with a TurnWhite Element.
