Objectives

・Head into the Fog

Aboard your ship, head toward the cloud and choose Head into the fog.

・Fight off the Pirates!
On your way to Mount Pyre, you are attacked by pirates. This next set of battles will be quite difficult so be sure to prepare beforehand.

・Fight off the Ghosts!
There's no rest for you, even after Fargo knocks out the party. Not long after you wake up, you'll be attacked by Crossbones and various other ghastly monsters around the ship! Once you've dealt with that enemy, save your game and give everyone White Elements as the next battles will be against Black Monsters.

・Help out the Pirates
Clear out the enemies and save the Pirates before heading towards the deck. Unfortunately, the door is locked so you'll need to climb the ladder to the other level instead.

・Make your Way Forward
At the top of the ladder, a section is blocked off by fire, head to the room next to it and help out the pirate in trouble. After which, climb through the vent at the back corner to reach the next room!
6 ・Keep Moving Forward!
This next room will have another enemy to fight and pirate to save. Defeat this one and you'll discover that you've made it past the fires! Unfortunately the way is still blocked.

・Follow the Pirate's Instructions
Speak to the Pirate in the hallway and take note of how they describe how to get out. You'll receive the key to the hold. Go back down, through the locked door and use the empty canon slot to get outside the ship.

・Head Back to the Locked Door
Make your way back to where you started and use the key to unlock the door! Head down the hall.

・Make Your Way Out
You'll find a DeadBeat that cannot be avoided, defeating it will allow you to progress! Keep moving forward until you spot a space for a canon that seems to be missing. Use this to make your way out.

・Take a Swig (Optional)
A pirate outside will offer you a drink. This drink has a chance of restoring your HP, removing all status effects, or poisoning you. It's a random chance effect so choose wisely if the risk is worth it.

・Aid the Captain
Save quickly at the Record of Fate before proceeding. Once you're ready, head to the deck and fight off some ghosts before hearing Fargo cry for help. Head over to help him and you will be led into a battle with the DeadHead.

・Follow the Captain's Advice
Fargo will inform you that you'll need to go to Water Dragon Isle, but if you visit it's all dried up here. You'll need to go to the Water Dragon Isle of your Home world and to do so you'll need to speak to the fisherman in Arni Village (Home)!
If you did not save Kid, head back to Guldove to speak to her and receive the Astral Amulet. You're now ready to go to Water Dragon Isle in your Home World!

Tips and Strategies

Hold Out Against Fargo

The fight with Fargo and his pirates will be a long one with him sending multiple enemies until he fights you himself. First he will send about 3 to 5 Man-O-Wars, followed by Polly, and then Fargo himself.

Having characters like Kid, Leena, or Glenn will be useful here, especially since Serge and Glenn can combine their powers to use X-Strike.

You'll find Pip in the hold, and he'll run from you initially. Just chase him around until you corner him and he will eventually join your party.

Allocate White Elements

Be sure to give out White Elements to your party so not only Serge is dealing this kind of damage to the enemies.

Hold Off on White Elements

When facing the DeadHead, it will make the fight difficult by using Diminish Element. This lowers the power and effect of Elements on the field. Since this may last for about 4 turns, you can use that time to deal Physical Damage instead or use Tech Skills.

You can still use other colored elements, but be sure not to use any Black Elements as it will heal the DeadHead. Save the White Elements for when the Diminish Element wears off.

If you had chosen not to save Kid, someone else will bring Doc a Hydra Humour and save her. Return to Guldove. Kid will rejoin you and give you back the Astral Amulet! If you have Macha or Glenn in your party, then Doc will offer to come along as well!

Fire Pillar

Once you discover that the door to the deck is locked, head to the other end of the hall to find the Fire Pillar! You can give this to someone in the party.

Panacea

Panacea Chrono Cross Remaster
On the upper floor, after helping the pirate in the first room, take the Panacea from the chest!

Photon Beam

Photon Beam Chrono Cross Remaster
You'll find the Photon Beam Element in a chest by the stairs that lead out of the hold.

Aqua Ball

You can find this in the crews quarters at the upper left corner!
