Should You Choose Karsh or Zoah?
We Recommend Choosing Zoah
During the Occupied Termina (Another World) main story quest, you’ll be given the choice for either Karsh or Zoah to lead you back into Viper Manor in order to save Riddel. The character that you choose will join your party at this point.
It’s recommended that you choose Zoah for this quest, as you’ll be able to unlock his Level 7 Tech Skill, Toss & Spike, from the treasure chest in his room during the next chapter in Viper Manor (Another World). Note that missing this Tech Skill right away is no big problem as you’ll be able to return to Viper Manor after completing the quest.
How to Unlock All Level 7 Tech Skills
Choosing One Character Doesn’t Lock You Out of Getting the Other
Whether players choose Karsh or Zoah doesn't matter in the long run. Both are recruitable no matter who you choose. After rescuing Riddel, the character that wasn't chosen to save her will eventually join Serge's party on the S.S. Invincible (Another World). For example, when choosing Karsh, Zoah will join the party later on, and vice-versa.
Karsh is Also a Strong Choice
Though both of these Dragoon Devas can hold their own in a fight, Karsh is undoubtedly one of the strongest characters in the game. Pick Karsh in order to make Riddel's rescue, smoothing sailing.
