Viper Manor Gates (Another World) Walkthrough

You are only required to go through Viper Manor Gates if you chose Pierre as your Guide.

Objectives

・Decide Whether Pierre's Plan is Worth it
At the gates, you will not be permitted to enter. Pierre will come up with another plan if you do not charge the guards. This plan will involve embarrassing the party and triggering the Acacia Guards to call in backup in the form of their commanders.

Defeat the Guards
We recommend charging the guards immediately. But, regardless of your choice, in order to progress you will need to defeat all the guards (either just the one group or the two groups).

・Defeat Solt, Peppor, and Ketchop
Once you open the gate, you'll be met by Solt and Peppor with their new friend, Ketchop! Defeat them in battle to proceed forward!

Tips and Strategies

Attack the Guards Immediately

Charge! Chrono Cross Remaster

While Pierre's plan will bring in a second set of enemies, there are actually no reward differences between fighting just the guards versus the guards and commanders. You are better off fighting just the guards to reserve resources for the next fight.

In order to avoid triggering the next set of guards, select the option: Charge!

Use Elements to Your Advantage

Use Elements Against Ketchop Chrono Cross Remaster
Between Solt, Peppor, and Ketchop, your biggest concern is Ketchop. You can use Elements like TurnRed to make the most of their weaknesses or use your Elemental power to heal your characters!

Just be sure to focus fire on Ketchop, especially since he will later knock Solt and Peppor out of the fight when he reaches about half of his HP.
