A third-year at Gekkoukan High, though he can rarely be seen at school. He was a founding member of SEES alongside Mitsuru and Akihiko. After distancing himself for about two years, a certain turn of events convinces him to rejoin the group.

In battle, he bludgeons with weapons like axes. His unique Persona is Castor, specializing in hard-hitting physical attacks.

Shinjiro's Persona is Castor of the Hierophant Arcana, one of the Gemini twins, and has boasts high-damaging physical attacks. Unlike most party members, Shinjiro's Persona will not evolve. Castor will stay by his side throughout the story.

Theurgies are powerful skills unique to each party member and can turn the tides of battle heavily in your favor. A party member may learn more than one Theurgy skill.

Shinjiro unleashes all his might and rage on a single enemy, dealing severe Strike DMG to them and ignoring whatever defenses they may have against it.

Shinjiro Characteristics

Shinjiro's Characteristics provide him a wide array of buffs that support his physical prowess, making him an effective front-liner in battle when it comes to dealing all manner of physical damage.

Characteristic: Auto Bolster

Shinjiro's ATK and DEF will be buffed at the start of battles, enabling him to get up close and personal with enemies as soon as battles commence.

Characteristic Evolution: Auto Heat Riser

Instead of just his ATK and DEF, all of Shinjiro's stats will now be buffed at the start of battles, making him an even more efficient damage dealer capable of scoring Critical Hits and evading incoming attacks more often.

How to Start Shinjiro's Social Link

Only Available for the Female Protagonist in P3P

You can only start Shinjiro's Social Link if you chose the female protagonist in Persona 3 Portable. If you chose the male protagonist, the Hierophant Social Link will be Bunkichi and Mitsuko, the elderly couple that owns the bookstore at the Iwatodai Strip Mall.

Since the male Protagonist is the only one in Persona 3 Reload, a Social Link with Shinjiro is not possible. However, your friendship as well as his character will grow on their own as you progress through the story.

Can You Save Shinjiro?

Since you can only choose the male protagonist in Persona 3 Reload, he has his fate sealed and you cannot save him. Despite this, you can still spend time with him during his linked episodes to explore his character.

Can You Romance Shinjiro?

You Cannot Romance Shinjiro

Shinjiro is not a romanceable option in Persona 3 Reload. He is, however, available as a romanceable option for the female protagonist in Persona 3 Portable.
