Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S on January 22, 2026. An exact release time has not yet been announced, but we will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available, so stay tuned!

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was released for PlayStation 5 on June 10, 2021, followed by a PC release on the Epic Games Store on December 16, 2021. The game later came to Steam on June 17, 2022.

June 8, 2025 | Xbox Series X|S Version Announcement
FF7 Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox Series X|S alongside Final Fantasy 16, as announced during the Xbox Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest 2025. It received a Winter 2025 release window.
April 2, 2025 | Switch 2 Version Announcement
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was announced to be coming to the Switch 2 during the Switch 2 Direct in April 2025. Square Enix has yet to announce the port’s release date.
December 9, 2021
During The Game Awards 2021, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was announced for PC release on the Epic Games Store on December 16, 2021, followed by a Steam release on June 17, 2022.
February 25, 2021
During Sony's February 2021 State of Play livestream, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade would be released on June 10, 2021, for PlayStation 5 consoles.
February 6, 2020
Final Fantasy VII Remake's release was later delayed to April 10, 2020. According to the game's producer, Yoshinori Kitase, the decision was made to allow for additional polish and to ensure the delivery of "the best possible experience" for players.
June 10, 2019
Years after the game’s announcement, Final Fantasy VII Remake finally received a release date of March 3, 2020 during a Final Fantasy VII concert in Los Angeles.
June 15, 2015 Reveal Announcement
Final Fantasy VII Remake was first announced at Sony's E3 2015 Conference. A CG trailer showcasing Cloud and Barret traversing the slums of Midgar was unveiled during the event.
