The next day after As Promised, Drowned in the Harbor (II), head back to the harbor in Port Elpis and talk to Nian to learn more about his friend.

Convinced that the incident has more hidden details, accompany Nian as he investigates the issue.

Speak With the Shipowner

Go to the dock to start the investigation with the shipowner. Confronted by the evidence Nian has collected over the past two years, the shipowner confesses the truth about what happened to Nian's friend.

Ask Old McdDunn For Clues

Ask Old McdDunn For Clues

Head to the harbor and continue the investigation with Old McDunn. Having spoken with the shipowner, Old McDunn collected records of the incident from two years ago.

Receive the record and testimony from Old McDunn to proceed.

Check up on Nian at the Pier

Check up on Nian at the Pier

With enough evidence to take the case to court, follow Nian to the pier as he reminisces about his past with his childhood friend.

Finish the conversation with him to complete the commission.

Ask Nian About the Court Case

Ask How the Court Case Went

After completing the commission, return to Port Elpis the next in-game day and talk to Nian and the shipowner to ask how the court case went.
