Upcoming Multiplayer Mode
A new multiplayer game mode has been announced by the developers. In this new mode, Proxies who have teamed up can unleash Chain Attacks together!
Is Zenless Zone Zero Multiplayer?
ZZZ has Co-Op, But Limited
Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) has Multiplayer, co-op modes, and a Friends List function. However, co-op and Multiplayer themselves are restricted to certain game modes and events and does not apply in combat.
Co-Op in Arcade Games
Arcade games at Godfinger Arcade makes use of multiplayer and has done so since the game's release, with more games added in subsequent patches. More games may be added in future updates that also feature multiplayer options, so stay tuned for more updates!

Starting from Version 1.5, Zenless Zone Zero has provided Proxies with more options to avail its co-op and multiplayer features, beginning with the The Day of Brilliant Wishes Event and its minigame, Grand Marcel Adventure!
Taking this minigame, its mechanics, and its co-op features into account, Hoyoverse released another minigame similar to it called Bangboo Bash, which released in Version 1.7.
Following this pattern, perhaps co-op will only be implemented in Bangboo-aligned events such as these, but more game modes that feature co-op and multiplayer capabilities may be released in future patches. Stay tuned for more updates!
Crossplay Features
Zenless Zone Zero also has Crossplay available at launch! This allows players from different platforms to be friends, communicate, and even play together in the available Co-Op game modes.
Does Zenless Zone Zero Have Crossplay?
No Co-Op for Combat Modes
Thus far, Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) does not feature co-op and multiplayer in combat modes such as Notorious Hunt or Expert Challenge. Co-op is also not available when trying to explore another Proxy's open world.
Multiplayer Game Modes
Snake Duel - Clash
Access Snake Duel - Clash and invite friends to play or queue with other players to play. Try to survive as much as possible, get achievements, and earn more rewards!
Soul Hounds III - Group Hunt
Access Soul Hounds III - Group Hunt and invite friends to race against! Dig down and reach the deepest floor first to win.
Keep playing to unlock achievements and earn rewards!
Bizarre Brigade - Shared Dream
In Bizarre Brigade - Shared Dream, team up with friends or random Proxies to take keep the nightmare at bay with your selected characters and attempt to last for as long as you can!
This is a great game for when you wish to work together instead of compete against each other!
How to Invite Friends to Co-Op
Click on the Respective Multiplayer Buttons
To start Co-Op Mode, you'll need to click on the corresponding multiplayer button of the game mode that you want to play. For Arcade Games, you'll need to click on a plus button to Invite a friend.
On events, you can choose to match randomly with other Proxies of the same server!
