With the release of Zhu Yuan, Nicole can be one of her best supports since she can help decrease enemy DEF and trigger Corrupted.

The Vault is an A Rank W-Engine and is the best for Nicole since it allows her to increase the team's DMG whenever she uses her EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate. It also provides Nicole with Energy Regen.

Chaotic Metal (4-pc) Swing Jazz (2-pc)	★★☆ - 2nd Best If you have a 4-piece set of Chaotic Metal, that can be equipped instead since enemies take more DMG when allies inflict Corruption. Using a 2-piece set of Swing Jazz increases Nicole's Energy Regen by 20%. This combination is useful in the early game.
Freedom Blues (4-pc) Hormone Punk (2-pc)	★☆☆ - 3rd Best A 4-piece set of Freedom Blues is also a good option for Nicole since it reduces a target's Anomaly Buildup RES to Ether. Filling up the remaining slots with Hormone Punk increases Nicole's ATK.

Dodge	★★☆☆☆	Barely used by Nicole in combat, so her Dodge is a low-priority upgrade.
Assist	★★★★☆	There is no harm in raising Nicole's Assist. But, upgrading it has a lower priority compared to her Special Attack and Core Skill.
Special Attack	★★★★★	Upgrade Nicole's Special Attack first since it increases the DMG and Daze of all of her Special Attack's variations.
Chain Attack	★★★★☆	While you won't use Nicole's Ultimate, you will often use her Chain Attack.

Nicole's Abilities Can Gather Enemies

Nicole has several abilities that can generate an energy field, which groups up enemies and continuously damages them. Specifically, it's her Ex Special Attack, Chain Attack, and Ultimate.

Out of all of the abilities mentioned, Nicole's Ultimate generates the largest energy field, allowing it to gather more enemies in an area.

Also, note that you can increase the damage of Nicole's Ex Special Attack by holding down the Special Attack button!

Switch to Your Main DPS Right Away

After Nicole's energy field groups up the enemies, immediately swap out to your Main DPS so they can deal damage against the enemies. Characters like Corin, whose abilities are mainly for single target units, can take advantage of the energy field's crowd control.

Reload Bullets to Enhance Basic Attack

Nicole's enhanced bullets increase the damage of her Basic Attacks and can be used 8 times before you need to reload it.

Almost all of Nicole's abilities except for her normal Dodge, Defensive Assist, and Assist Follow-Up reload Nicole's enhanced bullets.

Since you will most likely be using Nicole during the early game as a damage dealer, we recommend always reloading and using her enhanced Basic Attacks when fighting enemies!

Nicole Can Shred Enemy Defense

Nicole's Enhanced Basic Attack and Energy Field can shred an enemy's DEF, which scales off her Core Skill. Unfortunately, it has a really short duration of 3.5 seconds.

So, the only way for the other characters in the team to take advantage of the debuff is when Nicole's energy field actually gathers a lot of enemies and the team's Main DPS switches in.

Nicole Can Buff Allies' Ether DMG

If the Additional Ability of Nicole's Core Skill is active, her Enhanced Basic Attack and Energy Field can also apply a debuff to enemies that allow her teammates to deal more Ether DMG.

Do note that this effect will only activate if at least one member of the team is an Ether or a Cunning Hares unit.
