New Boss and Squad Building Guide
It was announced in the Version 2.5 Livestream that a new boss will be introduced in the Deadly Assault lineup in Version 2.5! Additionally, the new Squad Building Guide will be made available for Proxies to peruse.
The Squad Building Guide will give Proxies a preview of the teams used by other Proxies against a particular boss, which can be used as inspiration for their own team lineups!

• Agents deal 20% more DMG and attacks ignore 10% of enemy AII-DMG RES. • Attack specialty Agents' ATK increases by 25%, Basic Attack DMG increases by 40%, and ignore 30% of enemy DEF. |

• Increases Agent Anomaly Buildup Rate by 25% and Anomaly Proficiency by 40. • When an enemy suffers an Attribute Anomaly, Agents recover 500 additional Decibels and ATK increases by 30% for 15s. The Decibel recovery effect can trigger once every 15s. |
These are the current buffs available for this season of Deadly Assault. It would be wise to familiarize yourself with them, as they can help you earn large Performance Points, making it easier to get 3-star ratings.
It can also help you better understand the boss you'll be up against.
Deadly Assault Reset

Deadly Assault usually resets every other Friday. This resets all your progress, allowing you to collect the rewards again upon completion.
Season resets will also change the boss lineup and buffs available to you. For the current version, the next phase of Deadly Assault will reset on January 2, 2026.
How to Unlock Deadly Assault
Reach Inter-Knot Level 40 and Unlock Shiyu Defense
Deadly Assault can be unlocked after reaching Inter-Knot Level 40 and unlocking the Shiyu Defense game mode. Once done, clear the Deadly Situation commission to access the game mode.

• Suitable for Agents with Rupture specialty. • Wandering Hunter's Base DEF increases by 40% in Miasmic Field; when an Agent hits Wandering Hunter with Assist Follow-Up or Dodge Counter, 1 stack of Wavering is applied. Wavering can stack up to 5 times and lasts 15 seconds. Repeated triggers reset the duration. • When an Agent's attacks hit Wandering Hunter, for each stack of Wavering, the Agent's Sheer DMG is increased by 7%. • During the hide-and-seek phase, using Perception Technique to break Drowned Ideal Lucia's true form will grant 3,000 Performance Points; Exposing his true form and activating Defensive Assist or Assist Follow-Up against Wandering Hunter will grant 2,000 Performance Points, up to a maximum of 5,000 points. |

How to Beat Wandering Hunter
Perform Assists and Dodge
The best way to defeat the Wandering Hunter is to keep an eye on its attack cues to execute an assist or dodge counter, as you can gain about 5,000 Performance Points using that strategy.
Use Perception Technique
The Wandering Hunter will switch to its hide-and-seek phase, so you must use the Perception Technique to reveal the true form, which also grants an additional 3,000 Performance Points. Once revealed, follow it up with more assists and an all-out attack.

• When Sobek and The Thrall alternate turns, The Thrall gains 1 stack of Contract and Self-Sacrifice. Contract and Self Sacrifice can stack up to 3 times. Each stack of Contract increases All-Attribute Anomaly Buildup RES by 15%, each stack of Self-Sacrifice increases Stun DMG Multiplier by 10%. When The Thrall is Stunned, CRIT DMG taken increases by 50%. • When Agents inflict Weakened on Sobek and The Thrall, 1,500 Performance Points will be awarded. When an Agent eliminates Sobek, 2,000 Performance Points will be awarded. Up to a maximum of 5,000 Performance Points can be earned. |

How to Beat Ye Shiyuan the Thrall
Defeat Sobek
During combat, the Thrall will exit the battlefield, leaving Sobek alone. Sobek is not affected by Stun or Attribute Anomaly effects, so make sure to consider this when making your team.
Defeating Sobek will grant you additional Performance Points, but the Thrall will still summon it back into the fight afterward.
Perform Assists during Fusion Attacks
When Ye Shiyuan the Thrall summons Sobek, and they launch a Fusion Attack at you, use Defensive Assists to parry and put them into a weakened state.
Once they are in this weakened state, it will reward you with Performance Points, and you can cast Ultimates or do your all-out attack to gain more points.

Each stack of Laser Focus increases the Agent's ATK by 8%. With at least 3 stacks of Laser Focus, inflicting an Attribute Anomaly will increase its duration by 5s. When Sacrifice - Bringer attacks with his Sacrificial Knife, all squad members' Laser Focus stacks will be reset. • Successfully interrupting a chant grants 2,000 Performance Points. A maximum of 5,000 Performance Points can be obtained. |

How to Beat Sacrifice - Bringer
Interrupt the Chant
When the Sacrifice Bringer begins its chant, focus your attacks on its alternate form while it is chanting to transform. This strategy can help you earn around 5,000 Performance Points.
Keep an eye on its attack cues and wait for it to start chanting before unleashing your most powerful attacks.

Use Appropriate Agents for Each Battle
One thing to note when braving Deadly Assault is that previously used Agents and Bangboo cannot be used again in the next battle. Each and every battle will require unique teams.
In light of this, it would be wise to identify each boss's weaknesses and resistance before taking on the challenge. That way, you can formulate parties accordingly.
Take Advantage of Stage Effects and Buffs
Each stage in Deadly Assault will have stage effects that may make the battle a little more challenging than usual. Additionally, they will provide gameplay-based buffs, such as increasing the Anomaly Buildup Rate.
With this in mind, Proxies will be able to better formulate parties based on the buffs and effects each stage provides. Be sure to review the stage buffs and effects and strategize accordingly!
Aim for a High Score for Higher Ratings
In Deadly Assault, your performance rating will be based on how many objectives you can complete during battle. Completing an objective will increase your overall score.
Your scores will be determined by two things: Damage Score, which is determined by dealing a certain amount of DMG, and Mechanics Score, which is determined by performance such as using Perfect Assists and Chain Attacks.
Reset Your Lineup if Necessary
If you find that certain characters are necessary for other battles, you may reset your lineup to make them available for other stages even after using them in one. Keep in mind that this will reset your records.
However, this will not reset your progress. If you've already acquired three stars in one battle and you choose to reset your lineup, the rewards you can acquire for getting three stars will still be available to get!

Proxies will only have to obtain 6 stars to get all the Polychromes for Deadly Assault. That means each stage will only require you to achieve 2 stars if you're having a difficult time getting a 3-star.
