The Notorious Marionette is quite different from their usual form. In this form, they are merged together and would only separate when executing high-damage attacks.
After that, there will be a small lull moment where you can use your agents that have slower attack speed to DMG the boss. Otherwise, when the Marionette are attacking in tandem, it's best to use agents with faster speed or those who could dodge them easily.
The Notorious Marionette will separate for a while and spin around to deal AoE DMG to your agents. It will have several fast golden attack cues, so you must pay attention to either dodge them or switch via perfect assists.
Another of the boss' signature attack is where they will once again separate but the white one will float up and plunge towards your agent while the other tanks your attacks.
This attack can significantly tear down your Agent's HP so it's best to dodge it before the white marionette lands down then go back to attacking them both.
Note that after this attack, they will execute their spin attack and the way to counter that is to immediately move away as they spin and once they finish spinning, go back to attack them again.
There also have another aerial attack where they both float up and plunge down one by one which is much easier to dodge since you can see the trajectory of where they'll land.

The enemy will fix the impaired parts and reset the impairment level while charging, and will reset its Overwhelmed stacks after recovering from Stun.
• Assist Points are not consumed for this battle. • Successfully triggering a Perfect Assist grants 200 Performance Points. • Successfully causing Impaired grants 600 Performance Points. A maximum of 5,000 Performance Points can be obtained. |

From the get-go, expect the Typhon Destroyer to be increasingly aggressive in its attacks, so it's best to either dodge or do assists to avoid tanking too much damage against this enemy.
The best way to defeat the Typhon Destroyer is to inflict the Shock effect, slow it down, and stagger it. This will give you the opportunity to beat it a lot faster!

When the boss enemy has 4 stacks of Weakening, Defensive Assist will deflect the boss enemy's attack, causing a Stagger effect. • Successfully triggering a Perfect Assist grants 350 Performance Points. A maximum of 5,000 Performance Points can be obtained. |

One of the things that make Notorious Pompey different from the normal variant is the fact that it can deploy several AoE Land Mines. It's visually presented a purple circle on the ground.
Keep an eye on it to avoid it and do not go tunnel vision on attacking the boss otherwise, this will significantly shave your Agent's HP without you noticing it much due to the fast-paced battle.
The Notorious Pompey is much easier to deal with as long as you counter all of it's red or golden attack cues by dodging it or switching agents via perfect assists.
If you happen to bring a stun specialist and manage to stun them, you can then dish out all your ultimates against them after all that countering.
One thing to note when braving Deadly Assault is that previously used Agents and Bangboo cannot be used again in the next battle. Each and every battle will require unique teams.
In light of this, it would be wise to ascertain each and every boss' weaknesses and resistances before taking on the challenge. That way, you can formulate parties accordingly.
Each stage in Deadly Assault will have stage effects that may make the battle a little more challenging than usual. Additionally, they will provide gameplay-based buffs, such as increasing the Anomaly Buildup Rate.
With this in mind, Proxies will be able to better formulate parties based on the buffs and effects each stage provides. Be sure to review the stage buffs and effects and strategize accordingly!
In Deadly Assault, your performance rating will be based on how many objectives you can complete during battle. Completing an objective will increase your overall score.
Your scores will be determined by two things: Damage Score, which is determined by dealing a certain amount of DMG, and Mechanics Score, which is determined by performance such as using Perfect Assists and Chain Attacks.
If you find that certain characters are necessary for other battles, you may reset your lineup to make them available for other stages even after using them in one. Keep in mind that this will reset your records.
However, this will not reset your progress. If you've already acquired three stars in one battle and you chose to reset your lineup, the rewards you can acquire for getting three stars will still be available to get!

Proxies will only have to obtain 6 stars to get all the Polychromes for Deadly Assault. That means each stage will only require you to achieve 2 stars if you're having a difficult time getting a 3-star.
