Lycaon Is the Best Standard Character

As of Version 1.0 of Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ), Lycaon is the best Standard Banner character since he works well with the game's first-ever limited S Rank character, Ellen, who is also an Ice character like Lycaon.

The mono-ice team with Soukaku as the support is currently the best team in ZZZ. So, if you want to reroll, aim to get Lycaon and Ellen to progress the game easily!

Rina Is the Best for f2p Players

If you do not have time to reroll for the mono-ice team and you also do not want to spend some money on ZZZ, the best unit for you to get is Rina, the only standard S Rank Support.

This is because she is a versatile unit and her Core Skill is not necessary for teams outside mono-electric.

As more characters get added to ZZZ, Rina will still likely be a good addition to most teams since Supports, in HoYoverse games, rarely get powercrept compared to DPS units.

If you did not reroll, the best Standard Banner character to get will depend on the characters you already have. For example, if you have Anton, then you will want Grace or Rina instead to make an Electric team with him and Anby.

How to Use the S Rank Standard Banner Character Selector

Can Only Be Used After 300 Pulls

If you badly need a Standard S Rank character and they have yet to appear in any of your pulls, a guaranteed way to get them is to pull 300 times on the Standard Banner.

Once you have done that, you can click on the Selectable Agents button at the bottom right part of your screen to pick an Agent.

Pulls in Other Banners Do Not Count

Note that your pulls on the limited and Bangboo banners do not count. If you are a free-to-play player, we also recommend not spending your Polychromes to get Master Tapes. Instead, only use the free pulls you earn weekly!
