City Maps such as Sixth Street, Lumina Square, and Failume Heights feature the liveliness of New Eridu. Here, you can engage in several activities to pass the time, like playing video games at the arcade, grabbing a bite to eat, or going shopping for W-Engines!
These maps are also where you can collect HIA Coins, earn Mewmew Medals, find some Mini Cargo Trucks, and run into your Agent allies for a chance to raise their Trust Rank.

Non-functional City Maps are areas featured in the game's story segments. You will get to explore these maps as you play through commissions and events.

Hollow Maps are where the majority of combat will take place as they are full of Ethereals and other looming threats. While exploring these areas, you will also come across Mini Cargo Trucks and a variety of puzzles.
Certain Hollow Maps will allow you to form an Investigation Zone Squad to use while exploring. You will also gain access to unique features such as Perception Technique while in these maps.

The Janus Quarter is one of New Eridu's major city districts. It is mainly a commercial district, as it includes areas like Lumina Square, Port Elpis, and Sixth Street, where you will find many shops and entertainment establishments.
The majority of Season 1's story takes place in Janus Quarter.

South of Janus Quarter is the Throne Quarter, home of H.A.N.D. Headquarters. This region also includes the Fantasy Resort, where citizens of New Eridu can enjoy a trip to the beach.

Going west from Janus Quarter will lead you to Waifei Peninsula. This region includes areas like Failume Heights, where you will find Suibian Temple.
Most notably, you will find the Lemnian Hollow off the peninsula's southwest coast. Waifei Peninsula is the primary setting for Season 2, where Proxies explore the mysteries of Miasma and Lemnian Hollow while staying in Failume Heights.

On the outskirts of New Eridu, you will find the Outer Ring. Mostly a desolate area run by a network of biker gangs, the Outer Ring is mostly viewed as a lawless wasteland.
However, those brave enough to venture into the desert will find several smaller, relatively quiet settlements such as Blazewood.
