Zenless Zone Zero Compendium Guide

The Compendium is your daily reminder and list of tasks to do in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) within the day and week! Check out the available categories when accessing the compendium, as well as the available shortcuts it gives access to!

Compendium Errands Tab

The Compendium serves as an all-in-one daily reminder and list of tasks to do while playing the game. It lists down everything that the players can do within the day and even within the week!

Shortcuts to Game Modes

Compendium Fast Travel

Within the different tabs in the Compendium, players can go to different parts of New Eridu via Fast Travel. This will immediately send them to the location nearest to their designation.

How to Access the Compendium

Access via Main Menu

Compendium in Main Menu

The Compendium button in the Main Menu can be found between the DMs and the Achievements section. Just look for the notebook icon in the row.

Errand Notebook in Random Play

The Errand Notebook found in the corner between the Video Archive and the Hollow Deep Dive System also opens up the Compendium, and automatically goes into the Errands tab.

It is not hard to miss; find the orange notebook that has a banana sticker on top, right beside a framed picture of Belle and Wise.

Press Assigned Hotkey

PS4 - L2 Button + PS4 - X Button
XBOX - Left Trigger + XBOX - A Button

For faster access, the game has assigned a hotkey to access the Compendium while in the streets of New Eridu City. Press on this at any time outside of Commissions to open the Compendium.

What Is Inside the Compendium?

Primer Tab

Compendium Primer Tab

The Primer Tab serves as a progress ladder for players that are first starting out in the game. It rewards players for reaching milestones and getting to certain parts of the story!

Errands Tab

Compendium Errands Tab

The Compendium is where players can keep track of their daily errands! It also shows the progress before an Errand is completed, as well as provides a way to Fast Travel to the area closest to that Errand's vicinity.

Compendium Training Tab

The Training Tab shows the different nodes players can do to get materials and strengthen their Agents!

Available game modes include Combat Simulation for Agent EXP and Skill enhancement, and Expert Challenge for materials to upgrade their Core Skills!

Combat Tab

Compendium Combat Tab

Some of the endgame modes such as Shiyu Defense are found in the Combat tab, where players can easily challenge and test the current strength of their Agents.

It even shows the time available before the next refresh, and shows how much Investigative Points you have left to earn within the week!

Tactics Tab

Compendium Tactics Tab

If you need a refresher on how combat works in Zenless Zone Zero or if this is your first time playing the game, then visiting the Tactics Tab of the Compendium might be worth your while.

The Tactics Tab consists of interactive instructional courses on the battle mechanics of ZZZ, ranging from fundamentals and basics to more advanced techniques. You will even be rewarded for completing these courses!
