Repeatedly Attack Enemies

ZZZ - Repeatedly Attacking Enemies

Hitting enemies with Basic Attacks, Special Attacks, and EX Special Attacks fills up their Daze Gauge. You can find the enemy's Daze Gauge just below their health bar. This meter fills up and becomes yellow as you continually attack an enemy.

Once it's full, the enemy becomes Stunned—immobilizing them and increasing the damage they take.

Basic Combat Guide and Tips

Use Heavy Attacks on Stunned Enemies to Perform Chain Attacks

ZZZ - Chain Attack

To deal even more damage on a Stunned enemy, you can use a heavy attack (Special Attack or EX Special Attack) on them to perform a Chain Attack.

Chain Attacks allow you to switch to a different character while performing strong combo attacks.

Types of Enemies in ZZZ

Enemies have certain weaknesses that you can exploit through your Agent's attribute and attack type. Hitting these vulnerabilities may inflict increased Daze and Stun enemies quicker.

Ethereal Enemies

ZZZ - Ethereal Type Enemy

Ethereals can either be physical manifestations of Ether or organic creatures (like humans) mutated by it. Ironically, they are weak to Ether-type attacks.

Organic Enemies

ZZZ - Organic Type Enemy

Other people who dive into Hollows can also be encountered in combat. When facing Organic Enemies, bring Fire-type Agents with you to exploit their weakness.

Machine Enemies

ZZZ - Machine Type Enemy

Robots can also be found in the Hollows, either controlled by raiders or corrupted by Ether. Machine Enemies are vulnerable to Electric attacks as these can overload them into immobility.
