The Hollow Investigative Association Club, also known as the HIA Club, is an important location for gathering materials in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ). Find out what the HIA Club does, what the HIA Club rewards are, and more in this guide!
List of Contents
The main thing players can do at the HIA Club is to spend Battery Charge on the Combat Simulations in the VR Device Challenge.
Accessible by speaking to Bertha, the red-haired NPC, Combat Simulations have a set of stages that drop various materials that can be used as currency, as components for strengthening Agents and W-Engines, and more.
Progressing through Chapter 2: A Call From the Hollow's Heart and completing the Mechanical Love Investigation Commission and Let's go Bro! Investigation Commission will unlock the Expert Challenge stages in the HIA Club.
These stages drop materials used to upgrade an Agent's Core Skills. To access these stages, speak with Lyla, the blue-haired NPC at the counter.
Aside from getting the item drops mentioned above, there are also rewards for spending certain amounts of Battery Charge on the Combat Simulations.
The rewards can be viewed by clicking on the Reward Icon in the bottom left of the Combat Simulation menu. These rewards are tied to Inter-Knot Level, so be sure to keep raising it for more access to these rewards!
How to Raise Your Inter-Knot Level
The HIA Club and its functions will become available for use after the events of the Cat's Lost and Found Story Quest.
After permanently unlocking the HIA Club, the player can bring up the Fast Travel Menu and select the HIA Club from the list of options. They will then be prompted if they want to teleport to the HIA.
The Business Car in the Random Play Video Store Parking Lot can be interacted with to also bring up the Fast Travel Menu.
Going into the Metro Station will also provide the player with the means to reach the HIA Club. Interacting with the train platform doors will lead to prompts that will pull up the Fast Travel Menu.

Hey :) any recommendations for Custom decks in the HIA to farm all mats for specific characters at once (or so)?
