How to Do Perfect Dodges and Dodge Counters

How to Dodge in ZZZ

Press the Dodge Button

To execute a Perfect Dodge, you must first learn how to do a Basic Dodge. In the Xbox Version, you can dodge enemy attacks by pressing A.

Dodging makes the Agent invulnerable for a few frames. This can be followed up with a Dash Attack or Dodge Counter.

Dodge When the Flashing Light Appears

When an enemy is about to attack, a flash of yellow or orange will appear just before it hits your character. Use this as a visual cue to dodge at the right time to perform a Perfect Dodge. A Perfect Dodge gives you an opportunity to use a Dodge Counter.

Use a Basic Attack After Performing a Perfect Dodge

After performing a Perfect Dodge, you have an opportunity to use a Dodge Counter. Tap the Basic Attack button or the Left-Mouse Button (for PC) to do a Dodge Counter.

Dodge Counters are considered as Heavy Attacks and each character has a different Dodge Counter that can apply other effects.
