Dodge When the Flashing Light Appears

Perfect Dodge Visual Cue

When an enemy is about to attack, a flash of yellow or orange will appear just before it hits your character. It also comes with a very quick audio cue at the same time. Use these as a warning to dodge at the right time to perform a Perfect Dodge. A Perfect Dodge gives you an opportunity to use a Dodge Counter.

Visual Cue If Perfect Dodge is Successful

A small flash of blue light, and particle effects surrounding your active Agent serves as a visual cue if you manage to execute a Perfect Dodge correctly.

How to Do Dodge Counters

Use a Basic Attack After Performing a Perfect Dodge

Dodge Counter after Perfect Dodge

After performing a Perfect Dodge, you have an opportunity to use a Dodge Counter. Tap the Basic Attack button immediately after the dodge to do a Dodge Counter.

Dodge Counters are considered as Heavy Attacks and each character has a different Dodge Counter that can apply other effects.

How to Do Extreme Dodge

Up to Two Consecutive Perfect Dodges

Some bosses in the game will have movement patterns that will launch consecutive attacks. This requires the player to dodge multiple times consecutively. This is known as an Extreme Dodge

Internal Cooldown After 2nd Perfect Dodge

There is a small cooldown to the dodging mechanic if two Perfect Dodges happen consecutively. This restriction is especially evident against bosses that have multiple attacks in a single attack pattern.

At the beginning of the page, it say "left click" is how you dodge, but that is a typo (at least for standard controls) since left click is basic attack and right click is dodge.
