Zenless Zone Zero Additional Ability Guide

Additional Abilities in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) are a character's core skill that depends on your team composition. Check out how to activate Additional Abilities in general and for each Agent, and how to view them here!

Additional Abilities Preview

Additional Abilities are passive skills of Agents that can be activated depending on your team compositions. You can use this as a guide on how to build teams properly.

In most cases, an Agent will need to be in the the same team with someone of the same Attribute or Faction. You only need to meet one of these conditions to activate an Agent's Additional Ability.

Additional Ability Exceptions

Zhu Yuan Additional Ability

Some characters like Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Jane are not as restrictive. Apart from a member of the same Faction, they are examples of Agents that only require teammates of a specific Specialty, regardless of Attribute.

For instance, Qingyi will only need an Attack unit in the party. Putting her in a Mono-Electric team with Rina and Grace will not activate her Additional Ability.

The best way to view Additional Abilities is during Team Preview. When you click on the smiley face button at the top right of the screen, you can check each active Agent's Additional Ability and whether they're active or not.

You can also check individual Additional Abilities when you're in the Agent Menu. Just click on the character you want to look at, go to their Skills tab, and select the Film Reels view it.
