• Can deal a huge amount of Daze DMG. • Has the ability to increase the Stun Multiplier, which increases the DMG to Stunned enemies. • Can decrease the enemy's Ice RES, which is extremely useful for Ice-centric teams. |

| Weaknesses | |||
| • Attacks are short ranged, so Lycaon can be easily interrupted. |
Lycaon is a powerful Stun unit who specializes in dealing tons of Daze with his Basic Attacks and can increase the DMG taken by Stunned enemies.
Lycaon can be used well on any team as their Stun unit, but he excels on Ice teams thanks to his Ice RES shred.

Lycaon's Potential Vision Agent Enhancement is now available with the release of Version 2.6. These enhancements enable Lycaon to perform coordinated attacks alongside your active character for a period of time, dealing additional Stun.
A new Quick Assist entry mechanic has also been introduced in his kit to aid Proxies in battle.

This build makes the most out of Lycaon's Daze and makes him deal a decent amount of damage. Having Energy Regen on Lycaon is also important so that he can use his EX Special Attacks more frequently.
Shockstar Disco provides extra Daze to all of Lycaon's attacks and Swing Jazz increases his Energy Regen.

Lycaon is the best Stun unit for Ellen since he can dish out a lot of Daze DMG and increase the stunned enemy's damage taken and provide Ice RES shred.
This combined with Astra's buffs will significantly increase Ellen's overall damage output.

Lycaon fulfills two requirements to unlock Hugo's full potential: a Stun and an Ice Character. Lycaon works best with Lighter to stun the enemies as fast as possible.
In addition, Lighter can increase Hugo's Ice DMG and reduce the enemy's Ice RES. Once the enemy has been stunned, Hugo's DMG increases exponentially based on the remaining time an enemy is in that state.

Binding Chains When an attack hits an enemy, DMG and Daze from Basic Attacks increase by 6% for 8s, stacking up to 5 times. This effect can trigger at most once during each skill. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |
| 2 |
|
Flowing Flame Upon launching a Quick Assist or Perfect Assist, the Impact increases by 25% for 8s. When the agent launches and hits an enemy with a Basic ATK, apply Wilt to the target for 30s, stacking up to 20 times, repeated triggers reset the duration. Only one of this effect can at a time active in the same team. |
| 3 |
|
Ringing Melody When a Basic Attack hits an enemy, the equipper gains a stack of Tea-riffic. Each stack of Tea-riffic increases the Impact of the equipper by 0.7%, for 8s, stacking up to 30 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. When gaining Tea-riffic, if the equipper has 15 or more stacks of Tea-riffic, the ATK of all squad members increases by 20% for 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack. |
| 4 |
|
Passionate Construction While off-field, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.6/s. When using an EX Special Attack, the equipper's Impact is increased 10% for 10s, stacking up to 2 times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |

| 6 |
|
Behemoth Hunter When the target's HP is no lower than 50%, the equipper inflicts 10% more Daze to the target. When the target's HP is no lower than 75%, this bonus is further enhanced by 10%. |
The Restrained is easily Lycaon's Best W-Engine as it provides more Daze for his Basic Attacks.

★★★ - Best Set! Shockstar Disco increases Lycaon's Impact and lets his attacks deal more Daze to enemies which synergize well with his kit. 2-piece Swing Jazz increases Lycaon's Energy Regen which allows him to do more EX Special Attacks. |

★★☆ - 2nd Best King of the Summit can be used instead of Shockstar Disco if you want Lycaon to provide CRIT DMG buffs for the team. |
| Skill | Priority | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| ★★★★★ | Lycaon's Core Skill increases his Daze, which is an important stat for Stun characters like him. | |
| ★★★★★ | You will be using Lycaon's Basic Attacks for the most part when he is on the field. | |
| ★★☆☆☆ | While this increases the Daze when upgraded, you won't be using Lycaon's Dash Attack that often when you get used to him. | |
| ★☆☆☆☆ | Lycaon's Assist Skill allows him to deal some Daze, but it's less of a priority compared to his other Skills. | |
| ★★★★☆ | You will be using Lycaon's Special Attack as your main DMG source, so upgrade this alongside her Core Skill. | |
| ★★★★☆ | Upgrade Lycaon's Ultimate after his Basic Attack since his Ultimate inflicts a ton of daze against enemies. |
Lycaon mostly accumulates Daze using his basic attacks, so it should be the first thing to maximize first. Upgrade his Core Skill next as this increases his Daze. You can then upgrade Special Attack for more damage or Chain Attack for a ton of daze depending on what you need.

| Skill Effects |
|---|
|
Core Passive - Metallic Paws
When Lycaon charges his Basic Attack to completion, the attack deals 40% increased Daze. When EX Special Attack or Assist Follow-Up hits an enemy, the target's Ice DMG Res decreases by 25% for 30s. Potential Vision Unlocked: When Lycaon completes charging during a Basic Attack, or activates a Dodge Counter or Dash Attack, the Daze inflicted by the skill increases by 80%. When EX Special Attack: Thrill of the Hunt, Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack, or Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack - Glacial Waltz hits an enemy, the target's Ice RES is reduced by 25%, and it increases the DMG to the target from other attributes by 30% for 30s. Upon entering the battlefield, Lycaon gains one Encircle Prey activation chance. When Encircle Prey has available activations, hitting an enemy with Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack - Glacial Waltz triggers the Quick Assist of the previous character in the squad. During this skill, when other squad members enter via Quick Assist, Lycaon enters the Encircle Prey state for 8s. When an elite boss or enemy becomes Stunned, 1Encircle Prey activation chance is gained. Up to 1 Encircle Prey activation can be stored. When the Encircle Prey state ends, Lycaon automatically activates Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack - Glacial Watlz. If the Encircle Prey state ends early, for every 1s remaining duration, the Daze dealt by the next Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack - Glacial Waltz increases by 6%. When the currently active character stops attacking or uses a Chain Attack or Ultimate, Lycaon will end the Encircle Prey state early. When Lycaon manually uses Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack - Glacial Waltz, the Encircle Prey state also ends early, but Assist Follow-Up: Vengeful Counterattack - Glacial Waltz will not be automatically triggered. While the Encircle Prey state is active, Lycaon will activate Basic Attack, Dodge, Dash Attack, and Dodge Counter based on the skills used by the currently active character. When the currently active character uses a Basic Attack or EX Special Attack, Lycaon will simultaneously perform the 1st through 3rd hits of his Basic Attack. When the active character performs a Dodge or Dodge Counter, Lycaon will simultaneously perform a Dodge or Dodge Counter. After performing a Dodge Counter while in the Encircled Prey state, Lycaon can immediately follow up with the 3rd hit of his Basic Attack. While the Encircle Prey state is active, when Lycaon is not the currently active Agent, his attacks only deal DMG and Daze. While Lycaon is the currently active character, the Encircle Prey duration does not decrease. |
|
Additional Ability - Elegant Predator
When another character in your squad shares the same Attribute or Faction: When Lycaon hits a Stunned enemy, the target's Stun DMG Multiplier increases by 35%. Potential Vision Unlocked: When another character in your squad is an Anomaly character or shares the same Attribute or Faction: When Lycaon hits a Stunned enemy, the target's Stun DMG Multiplier increases by 35%. |
|
Potential Awakening - Glacial Rush
While Encircle Prey is active, when Lycaon performs a Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counteras a non-active Agent, his impact is increased by 5%. |

Lycaon's Basic and Special Attacks deal a lot more Daze when held down. So we recommend holding down the Basic Attack and Special Attack to stun the enemy as soon as you can.
| Lycaon Daze Combo |
|---|
| Charged EX Special Attack 2x → Charged Basic Attack Combo → Repeat Until Stunned |
Do two Charged EX Specials and then transition into a Charged Basic Attack Combo. Repeat the combo until the enemy is stunned. This combo will easily Stun enemies in no time.

When Lycaon attacks a stunned enemy, the Stun DMG multiplier will increase. Make sure to attack the stunned enemy with Lycaon before switching to the Attack unit.
This can only work if there's another Ice or Victoria Housekeeping Co. agent in the party.
Lycaon's Ultimate can deal a great amount of Daze onto enemies at a wide AoE. This is very useful if you need to Stun multiple enemies.
After unlocking Lycaon's Potential Vision enhancements, you can hold down the Basic Attack button after performing a Defensive Assist with him to trigger a Quick Assist and activate his Encircle Prey state. While in this state, Lycaon will remain on-field alongside the active character, mirroring their actions.
If you have at least Hunter's Grace II unlocked, Lycaon will have increased Impact while in the Encircle Prey state. Also keep in mind that Lycaon only deals DMG and Daze while in the Encircle Prey state.
